We absolutely loved this spot! You could see houses from the camp spot, but there are no other campers so it is quite private. The porta potty was extremely clean and convenient. Great trails for walking. There’s also a family dollar right down the road incase you need to grab something!

Great Hosts, Great Communication!
Stayed for 2 nights and the property is very clean and well kept. Plenty of fish in pond, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Perch, and Blue Gills.
No cell service so you can unwind. Had a peddle boat for use, be we didn’t try it. Heard Coyotes in the evening. It was a wonderful weekend. Highly Recommend.

The driveway is steep but thoroughly negotiable. At the top, is a large area where we were able easily to back our 25' travel trailer into the designated spot, and we were able to leave without backing and filling. HOWEVER, after we set up our trailer, it rolled back off the blocks the jack was on! It was only caught by the wheel chock behind one of the rear wheels! Had it kept going, it would have rolled down the hill in front of the house and onto the road below. BE SURE TO CHOCK YOUR WHEELS FIRST THING! The angle is NOT steep, but it was enough for this incident.
Also, Cliff Mine Road seems to have a split personality: a mile from Ian's place is an intersection. Three roads come into that intersection. Each of the three are named Cliff Mine Road. Ian lives on Cliff Mine / Enlow Road! Be sure to include the Enlow in your GPS navigation tool!
This all sounds serious. One does need to be aware of these two matters. But Ian and Kaitlin are wonderful, and the spot is very nice. Electricity only -- no water or sewer, but for one or two nights (we stayed two), it was excellent.

What a great host and really couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience!If you want that real camping feeling(from no service, to hearing the coyotes at night and the closest stores for anything are about 15 minutes away) this is the place! Ian's HipCamp was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting a relative in Pittsburgh for a few days. The spot was near highway access and close to shopping and restaurants. We especially appreciated the asphalt driveway and the safe, peaceful neighborhood. Hookups were sufficient and grouped for easy access. The yard was spacious, and there was plenty of room to park when we unhitched from our travel trailer. Communications were timely and easy. We highly recommend this HipCamp!

A wonderful, quiet place with very nice, thoughtful hosts. This was the only place we could find in close proximity to Pittsburgh and you'd never know you were close to the city. Highly recommend!

I was in late and out early. This place is great for a traveler’s much needed R&R. It’s got all the basic provisions for recharge, refill, and discard trash. The gravel is level, the neighborhood is quiet, and if you’re facing east the sunrise is a can’t miss feature. Host is friendly, communicative and takes the time and effort to make this a great camp.

Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.
