Cottonwood Country Camp

8 sites · Lodging, RVs2 acres · Yakima, WA
Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains. There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear. There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night. Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect) Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :) Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun. Plenty of fun activities are only a short drive from the campsite! For a detailed list of everything Yakima has to offer go here www.visityakima.com Easy access to nearby award winning wineries and craft breweries. Check out the map and guide to local wineries and breweries at the link below https://www.yakimavalleytourism.com/travel-maps/yakima-valley-wineries-map-web.pdf Yakima's local fresh fruit is always available in summer. Yakima is well know for the amazing fly fishing throughout the region. For current fly fishing conditions check out the report from Red's Fly Fly Shop at the link below https://redsflyfishing.com/blogs/yakima-river-fishing-report/yakima-river-report Kayaking, paddle boarding, river rafting, and jet skiing all easy drive from this camp. Own a boat or jet ski? bring it, plenty of space to park your boat and watercraft trailer. If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away. Winter time campers are welcome too! Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival. Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

Mountain View Glamping Cabin

1 site · Lodging4 acres · Tieton, WA
Learn more about this land: Remodeled 1940's orchard workers’ cabin done in romantic cabin decor. The large deck has views to Mt. Clemen, a porch swing, table , chairs, umbrella, kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, water kettle, toaster, and hot/cold drinking water. A new patio features fire pit/box. New Sanican is attached to cabin and includes outdoor hot/cold shower. Complex includes four view acres, surrounding gardens, and is nestled in a patch of forest. Close to many outdoor and cultural activities. The cabin is close to many trails, ATV trails, fishing, hiking, and rock climbing areas. The rural roads here are seldom traveled, mostly by farm and orchard tractors and vehicles, farmer's pickups and bicycles. Houses are widely spread, few are closer than a half block. There are many empty fields and parking can happen almost anywhere. There are several places to park next to the cabin, even for larger RV's. There is no public transportation out here. Ordinary road map directions for getting here are very simple and straightforward. When you arrive at the property, just pull into the curving drive. You will see the cabin by itself to the left. Just park in front. Tieton is a rare place. The once dying town was re-discovered in the first decade of the new century by a couple friends on a mountain biking exploration. They got a vicious Goat's Head thorn in a tire and had to stop. They looked around at empty warehouses and closed stores and asked about it. The many small orchardists had been selling off their orchards to larger orchards and retiring. They saw opportunities in the empty buildings and had a vision. Artists, writers, poets, thinkers from all over the northwest have been visiting and moving here over the last 14 years, making this a unique town, with two hispanic restaurants, a gourmet restaurant, two convenience stores and a bakery. The town is thriving from grants for the local central park and from the activities now of two art galleries and many seasonal events. Check out Mighty Tieton .com. Mt. View Cabin is less than a mile of country road to town. But watch your speed!!!

The Ranch

11 sites · RVs, TentsSoap Lake, WA
We just got this place gifted to our small family and are very gracious for it. We don't have much but we're working hard to be self sustainable.Learn more about this land:This is basically a wide open sagebrush grass pasture land my family is homesteading. We've got very basic accommodations. Camping is anywhere you want as long as you leave no trace (ish). Rocky Ford creek fishing less than a mile away. The George Amphitheatre less than 45 min away. (Designated driver to and from concerts can be prearranged for an additional charge) . Plus countless lakes around us full of fish, swimming, and fun. We do have an electric fence on property. It really hurts. Don't touch it.
