Edwin was a fruit farmer and I suspect that the lone pear tree still growing (and bearing fruit) on the ranch, may have been planted by him nearly 150 years ago. Today we raise horses, but mostly we raise kids and spirits. Come up, set a spell, and renew your soul.

Although near the main road, the site feels private. You are less than 1 minute walk to Big Cottonwood Creek, and there is hiking out the door in multiple directions, as well as easy biking to Solitude Resort. As a bonus, you are 1/4 mile from Silver Fork Lodge if you get a hankering for a prepared meal. Please note that there are NO DOGS allowed in Big or Little Cottonwood canyons. There is a high fine if so. So this is not an appropriate spot to bring your four-legged friends unfortunately.

The view out our front yard is deer Valley ski resort. You’re welcome to park your trailer in our driveway and enjoy our amenities.Learn more about this land:One mile up a dirt road with easy access to Wasatch National Forest directly from our driveway. Hiking, mtn biking, and ATV riding are all possible. Countless mountain lakes and streams nearby in Mirror Lake Hwy. Park City is 20 minutes away. Salt Lake City is 50 minutes away. This is a great rest area tucked away behind a hilly landscape and out of sight of Hwy 40. Go to bed under the stars and if you're a late nighter you'll be mesmerized at the sight of the stunning Milky Way. There is a tent pad able to fit up to 6 people, a fire ring and spacious horseshoe driveway for parking multiple vehicles or a small to midsize RV/Camper trailer. Newly installed is a rustic country style privacy fence. This is a no frills campsite where you will need to provide your own water, toilet and firewood (We can provide firewood for an extra fee). There is a rest stop with restrooms just down the road going east on hwy 40 if needed. Pack it in and pack it out.

It's a hikers paradise with lots of rock features, sandy areas, tons of trees, wildlife and all the beautiful plant life of a high desert. The lake is close by for Fishing, kayaking, boating, or just a good ole swim about 10 minutes away. So, here is what you get on my 15 acres. Me, as your host to show you around and let you pick from several spots available where you would like to camp on the upper 5 acres for RV, truck, tent,, etc. I can accomidate whatever. For those that want the natural experience I suggest down below. So cool. There is no one right next to me to the north, south, east, or west. Very private. It is off grid..
