Seabase's water was visited by the pioneers on the way to California, and then was owned by Grantsville City as a "swimming hole", and now is a SCUBA and snorkeling resort.& event locationn.  Camping and events happen, and sometimes there would be no one here but you and the caretakers, sometimes a lot of people.
There are 20 acres to dry camp, so getting back away from traffic, or close to the water are options.

Second Chance Ranch

My husband Shaun and I fell into rescuing horses quite by accident.  We started a non-profit to promote the Rescue, Rehab, Retrain and Rehome method to get horses out of bad situations and into good homes. We are a small rescue and hope to be much bigger one day!  Please come visit, enjoy our beautiful property and support an amazing non-profit cause while you are at it! Learn more about this land:We are a non-profit horse rescue situated on one acre. The best description I can give of our property is that it's great for a convenient and quaint "Stop and Sleep".  This is because we are located right off of the old main highway and have two neighbors within eyesight from the house. This site is very convenient for quick stays since it is so CLOSE TO THE HIGHWAY this makes it convenient but may not be appropriate for very light sleepers or for extended stays.  The camping area is simple, with wild grass and a fire pit, bordered by the river on one side and the horse pasture on the other.  You can see and hear the river easily April-July. The river is seasonal and does dry up in mid July-August. Drinkable hose water is available near the house.  If you want a ranch-style camping experience with lots of interaction with your hosts and opportunity for adventure then you have chosen the right camping location! You are welcome to join in the daily choring activities or choose to be taken on a scenic trail ride or thrilling guided gallop on beautiful and well-trained rescue horses.PLEASE NOTE: The bathroom is located in our house and has a flushable toilet and shower with hot water. Bathroom hours are 8am-9pm.  Parking is located a few hundred feet from the campsite, just off of the road.  You must walk a few hundred feet to get to the campsite and you cannot pull your vehicle right up to it. While we do welcome car campers and pop-up trailers, just know you won't be parked at the campsite if you choose to sleep this way.  We look forward to having you camp with us!

Such a cute campsite down by the creek! It was dried up for the winter when we got here, but would be heavenly to fall asleep to in the spring or summer!

The barn and corral! Jessie was sweet enough to let us pitch the tent in this adorable barn for the night so we wouldn't freeze in the 30-degree night!

Jessie gifted us with some delicious hot chocolate upon arrival!

The Rockin Robbins Ranch

Our beautiful ranch is a Family Farm started by Grandpa Dar. We continue to honor the old ways of caring for free roaming chickens, growing food without chemicals, honey bee shelters, sharing our Hearth and Home with family  and friends. Our rose gardens are delightful, enjoy... 

We have been planting Hazelnut Trees, Chestnut Trees, Peach Trees, and a grove of old Oak Trees, old apple tree varieties, and of course our Mulberry trees... We have expanded our ranch to a few more acres for our cows to be able to have more room. 

Our Fire Pit is open to all guests. The wood for all designated fire areas is provided.  There are BBQ Grills, Dutch Ovens, etc so you can cook out doors. The Outdoor Solar shower offers a place to cool down in summer heat... Please note... a solar shower is only warm during sun shine hours... The water is warm not hot... Showers are also available inside our Bed & Breakfast.

We plant and tend vegetable gardens for our guests to share in the harvest.  We plant  Huggle Mounds in the spring... as well as grapes and assorted fruit trees... 

You are welcome ot walk our Custom Labyrinth. You are free to wander the fields, gardens and orchards. When the garden is in bloom, help yourself... 

Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... 

We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. Picnic tables are provided at tent sites and at the Grumpy Dragon. 

Help your self to muffins, breakfast bars, beverages and fresh fruit. 

Coffee, tea and Hot chocolate is always available. 

WIFI is available at the  for an outdoor Cafe... Your devices should be able to pick up a strong signal.  5 G and 2.4...( 2 different pass words are provided)

Our ranchette is for boarding horses- both monthly and overnights.  We are big rig friendly with rotomill roads and spacious views.  We have small pastures where horses  roam and graze.  For Hip Campers we hope you enjoy the beautiful views and spectacular sunsets.  Please "self serve" park at the north end of the sand arena- about 400 yards north of Pioneer Rd. More of a "safe parking/overnight" spot. Not a campground.  1.25 mile west of I-15, greater Ogden area.  See the yellow lines on the google map for entry and X for parking spot.  No "meet N greet" offered, please self serve.  RVs only. No tents/no car camping.
