Lemon Lane Farm, a 116 acre farm on the Cumberland Plateau, will take you to another place.  Come relax, wonder our trails (1.5-5 mile options), detox in our sauna, meet and play with our animals, fish in our pond, visit our general store, visit nearby waterfalls (3 of them within  5-20 min drive).  Stay at the farm and never leave or explore the amazing surrounding areas.  Each site at Grandview Camp is unique and has its own private space, visit with the owners of the farm and other campers or be completely private and stay to yourself, the choice is yours.

Fridge works when you use the generator but if you want to go electricity free to save money we also have an old Coleman cooler you can use!

The Home Place

A beautiful farm passed on to us by our folks. We love to share it because we see it with new eyes when we show it to you.
Large farm with walking trails, horses, dogs, chickens and a million fireflies in June! Come spend a night in the country! We have an organic garden world class salads you can create from fruits and vegetables. Good cell reception here. Pet fee $25 per pet. Great hikes, picnic areas, dogs to pet, bluegrass music sometimes, 2.5 miles from Burgess Falls, 12 min to Walmart. 
We offer multiple cabins for rent, a lodge, or camp sites (both tent and RV spots available). Please read listing descriptions, as each listing is unique.

The Hawk's Nest is tucked down in the woods on the edge of a field.

This is a remote spot available no hookups but water available at main house. You are behind gates with 30 acres of woods and meadows, a small creek, firepit etc.

Please read the site descriptions carefully to match your style of camping with the appropriate campsite. BBA guests frequently camp with a tent, vehicle, smaller camper, hammock tent, roof top tent, pop-up camper and similar styles depending on their selection.  Most of the photos in this listing are taken onsite. Please keep in mind this is primitive and wild Tennessee landscape that may also contain poisonous plants and wildlife in or around campsites. If you are considering camping for the first time, we recommend trying a location with bathrooms and running water before attempting a primitive, off road location such as ours. Campsite capacities are intended for large families, not large adult groups. However, we will consider hosting your adult group if you would like to reach out and discuss it with us before requesting to book.

Access to fresh water fun is a short down-hill hike for all guests, with the exception of our hike-in campsites which are positioned alongside the river. Each spot has been strategically selected to provide as much privacy as possible, and comfortably accommodates groups with two vehicles. We provide a rock fire pit and heavy duty cast iron grill grate. You provide everything else, including drinking water and personal toilet waste bags if you plan to use our system. The hike-in sites come with extra seating.  Every guest must be included on your reservation, and adult guests may be required to provide identification. Thank you!

COMMUNITY COMFORT STATION: There is a comfort station with an outdoor shower stall for hanging your own solar shower bag. The comfort station also includes a changing room which doubles as a private place to use your portable camping toilet. A toilet seat and bucket system is provided but guests will need to use their own waste disposal bags, available at most camping supply stores. The backside of the comfort station has a rain barrel (not potable) collection system for extinguishing fires.

OFF-ROAD CONDITIONS:  Due to the primitive nature of our location, all reservations should expect hilly terrain and potential bumpy or soggy road access, especially after heavy rain. We ask all guests to help us minimize impacts by driving with care. We do not recommend vehicles with low ground clearance or low profile tires. An important note, guests always have the choice to park their vehicles at the entrance. We close road access December-March and guests are required to hike in from the entrance of the property, less than a mile distance total. When the road is open in Spring or unusually wet seasons, we recommend AWD or 4WD as a precaution.

Belle and Beau Acres is a farm homestead with a personal campground, conveniently located less than five minutes from I40.  Expect nothing short of 360 degree views of relaxing nature, privacy, and spontaneous adventure when recreating at this agritourism location. Central to the most beautiful middle Tennessee destinations, BBA is the perfect home base for day excursions to at least 10 nearby state parks and lakes. Conveniently located on the Eastern Highland Rim between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga in the lower Appalachian mountains, this area sits at the Upper Cumberland Plateau and is part of Tennessee's largest micropolitan area of Cookeville. Visit popular nearby attractions such as Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Fancher Falls, Greeter Falls, Fall Creek Falls, Blue Hole, Rock Island, Center Hill Lake, Dale Hollow Lake, Caney Fork River, Standing Stone State Park, Virgin Falls, Rock Island, Cordell Hull, and Edgar Evins State Park. The choices are endless!

The Klein family purchased their home in 2015 after grieving the sudden loss of a beloved family member and realizing that life is truly too short. They traded their bustling city life for a more permanent connection to nature. This small family of four lives at the entrance of their 33 acre old ranch, hosting primitive camping and leaning into a homesteading lifestyle. It wasn't until the family started shaping the land for their personal use until they realized the abundant beauty that surrounds the home. Hidden away and inaccessible were gorgeous rocky cliffs, rivers and even a waterfall! Hipcamp has provided an opportunity for them to carefully share this experience with others. On the land, they enjoy cooling off in the spring water, growing organic food, foraging for wild edibles, hiking, and exploring their onsite rivers and natural springs. Your host Christine is creative and loves working in her onsite fiber studio while her husband David is often found tending to his young fruit and nut orchard and organic crops. Their son Elliott is a student at Tennessee Tech University and their daughter Freya is a student at Upperman High School. David, Elliott, and Freya enjoy playing music together professionally in their band My Heart Your Heart.

Moonlight Ridge

Private primitive campsite on North White Oak Creek. Bring your fishing poles and hiking boots!  This site is right in the creek with a raised area to set up a tent and a lower area on the bank.  
There is a small fire ring with a tripod for cooking, a few cooking utensils, roasting sticks and three folding chairs for your use. Picnic table was available but was dept down stream a few months ago!!!
Bathroom is a pop up shower tent with a bedside chair and bucket. I will provide disposable gel bags I just tried them sealed, placed in garbage bag and deposited in receptacle at the end of the trail upon check out.
Dry firewood is available for purchase. There is plenty of small branches around for kindling. Do not cut down any live trees. Do not use firewood from the small cabin area.

At night enjoy the sounds of passing coyotes and the watch the flashing lights of the of lightening bugs fluttering around. You may even get lucky and see glow worms and glowing mushrooms  in the area certain times of the year.  There is also an area where hundreds of hummingbirds abound!  They will hover in front of your face as you pass by, this also depends on the season and when the flowers in the marsh are blooming.  

The old O&W Trail crosses my property. For those who are true explorers you can follow the trail East into Big South Fork. This part of the park is unmaintained so a lot of tree dodging and climbing small rock slides may be required. This section of the trail is rarely traveled so chances of seeing a human is slim and wildlife is great. Please stay on the trail until entering the park as it is private property on both sides of the trail.

Swimming is at your own risk. There are branches under the water that cannot be seen but my girls swim there almost daily during the summer. You are free to wander the property just be aware of your surroundings. I do have snakes, spiders, ticks, mountain lion, coyotes, bobcat, wild hog, beaver, otters, mink and a momma bear with cubs in the area.  

Driving to the parking area for the campsite is a narrow, steep, rutted and can be muddy trail thru the woods. Before booking please know it is recommended to have a vehicle with clearance and 4 wheel drive.  A mustang will NOT make it!!!  I do have a 4x4 to transport if needed providing you pitch in for gas cause she does drink a lot, about $10 with each time she goes down there, or you are welcome to park at the top and hike down. I have a wagon to haul gear.  Once at the parking area there is a short easy walk thru the woods to the campsite. Driving to the campsite is not possible. I try to keep it as natural as possible.

Wildvine Homestead

I found this little old homestead that had been abandoned 30 years ago. Over the years it had become overgrown and hidden. The first time I waded thru the outer wild hedges and briars and stepped into it, it was a place that opened up like a secret being revealed. I was filled with inspiration! I loved it then!
The property was overgrown with wild grape vines that had grown over 3 decades. The Good Lord had been saving it for me! A month later it was ours!  And so the work began!
I pray for production, protection and happily thankful blissful hearts to all who grace our ground on the Wildvine Homestead!

Thorny Creek Hideaway

Hello, if your reading this, something in my words must have caught your eye. This is a small farm with approximately 75 acres I moved here with my parents when I was 5 which was back in 1983. From Open Fields to a couple ponds and a creek that runs at the bottom of the property it's just a quiet little getaway accompanied by five horses who have the majority of the range to run.  We are kind of in the middle of nowhere where  but within just an hour's drive you can get to Dale Hollow Lake, Standing Stone State Park, and many other neat places.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent and relax down by the creek or in the woods.
