You will be conveniently located to all the area’s attractions, including Ohiopyle, Falling Water, Nemacolin Woodlands and so much more. The provided area for camping is located on my private property and spare lot. I do not have hookups but a generator may be brought if you wish. I do have a hose if you wish to fill up your holding tanks but do not provide a dump station for travel trailers. There are no public restrooms, or outhouses.

This is a place for people that want to enjoy nature and not have several people camping next to them. This is not a campground with a lot of people, sometimes you may be the only people staying there. Learn more about this land: Hike in woods, basically enjoy nature. We have wooded areas and open field areas to explore. Great place to get away from the world and relax. No utilities or restrooms available. Cell phones only work in limited areas.

Bring your own tent and supplies. --A very large open area away from woods can host a very large group or groups of campers. -- Campfires, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding are allowed. --This property is offset from rural roads. In spring and summer, there is lush vegetation, brush, and wildlife. No streetlights on the property. There is a small community situated across and up from the lake. **Please text via the HIPCAMP app your ETA approximately 24 hours prior to arrival to ensure that someone will be available to meet you. No check-ins after 6:30 PM unless previously arranged. **NOTE** Some GPS directions will say New Salem or Smock instead of Chestnut Ridge ** We support the "Leave No Trace" Best Practices to preserve nature. https://lnt.org/why/ --We do have occasional trespassers who fish (not next to campsites), so if you notice anyone before we do, please let us know so that we can ensure you have the best experience.
