The Evans Farm is a Century Farm which has been in our family for three generations (with the fourth generation children enjoying it now). It was a self sufficient family farm for many years with Jersey Dairy cattle, Suffolk Sheep, pigs, quality horses, both Draft and Riding, and a flock of chickens. A large garden supplied family vegetables. A love for the land and the area were all part of the Farm. This site is great for boon-docking on solar power, while enjoying great views of the Wallowa Mountains and surrounding farm/ranch land in relative privacy. Graveled Tucker Down Road runs on the west side of the sites, separated by a small creek, deciduous trees, and wild shrubs & flowers. The road gets a fair amount of ranch and farm traffic, but the trees do knock down most of the dust. While the site is flat, be ready for ann uneven surface with lots of tall grass, clover, & thistles. We were happy to be able to light our Howl propane fire pit for an evening under the stars. The site location is convenient with a short 5 minute drive to Joseph and just a 15 minute drive to Wallowa Lake & the Tramway. I can understand comments about the $75 per night being steep since there are no hookups but for us it was worth it.

2 nights at Glamp at the Evans Farm
What a wonderful place Grady Sr. and Kathleen have created on their beautiful farm. The Glamping tent was perfect for exploring the Joseph area.
The nights were quiet and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The outdoor shower was the perfect way to relax after a day on the trails. Very private and sitting on the front deck watching the sunsets over the mountains will be memorable.
We will surely be back when in Joseph. Thanx Grady Sr and Kathleen. So great meeting you both. Shelly and Shelley

The view was amazing. Even though the residence was nearby, it was down the hill from where we were and so our spot felt private. Was such a great location for exploring Enterprise, Joseph, and Wallowa Lake. We had a wonderful time!

Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating—quick to answer any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The site was peaceful and remote, giving us that off-the-grid feeling, yet still conveniently close to nearby activities. Super quiet at night, perfect for stargazing and relaxing. Janet's place was wonderful! In a quiet scenic place, in a fairly private spot on her property. Loved the animals! Jack Daniels the pig is very friendly and loves treats! the goats curious and friendly as well as the cats. The breads we ordered were delivered hot from the oven and tasted delicious. We also got to pick fresh raspberries from her garden for breakfast. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Absolutely, a very special place. Granola is the best I ever had! Little black barn kitty is purrfectly loving and the most curious. Def stay hear again. Especially if I had kids. Cool play structure. And a pet pig and baby goats! Whats not to lovw.

Jan was a great host and greeted us with a beautiful homebaked cinnamon/raisin bread, and introduced us to the farm's animals and the peaceful grounds. It was a quiet and beautiful place to pitch our tent and launch our backpacking trip into Eagle Cap Wilderness. We'll be back!

What a fun camping experience! Lots of farm animals to keep you company, plenty of tent space under tree cover, and amazing biscuits and zuchinni bread for breakfast, if you order. Janet was very helpful! Be careful as you drive to this farm-- so many deer on the roads!

We loved our stay in the glamping tent at Evan’s Farm! Kathy and Grady were so welcoming and helped us find our way even in the dark!
We woke up to the most stunning view of the farm with the mountains behind and ponies there to greet us! We got an insider tip from Grady on an amazing hike, went paddle boarding at Wallowa Lake and ended the night with a fire and s’mores at the farm!
Kathy and Grady have thought of and provided everything to make it the easiest glamping trip and the bed lived up to the hype! We were so cozy and comfortable.
Thank you for hosting us and we can’t wait to come back and stay longer!
