A little bit about how we started. Like most of us, we were in desperate need of a place to get away from the bustle and grind of daily life, to slow down, decompress, and destress. Interestingly, each year we find out more about our home, from its Native American prehistory, to its 19th century Civil War conflict, and most recently, a lost article published in the 1940s in the local Oklahoman gazette that enticingly gossips about long lost Buried Treasure!

We are a 400 plus acre working family ranch raising Registered Texas Longhorns. We offer homegrown steaks and hamburger for purchase during your stay. In season we offer homegrown fresh vegetables you can purchase to go with your steaks- your welcome to even pick your own. If fresh vegetables are not in season we do have a selection of salsas, jellies, and pickles made on the ranch. There are three ponds for fishing, lots of wildlife including nesting baldeagles. Bring sturdy enclosed shoes for hiking. Bring your canine friend, they will have a vacation of a lifetime. Pawhuska is only 13 miles away, if you want to let someone else cook your dinner. I cannot wait to come back next spring! The property is beyond beautiful! The cute outhouse, upcoming shower and hammocks just add to the fun atmosphere here. The hosts are absolutely incredible! They checked on me, gave me some “newbie” advice and assistance and were just the sweetest ever!

This has to be the best place to camp in Oklahoma. Longhorns roaming around, getting to tour with Casey (grandson) and the host, Glenda, was awesome. Such a great family and time on this property. I was there 6 nights, 4 at a camp where I truck camped, 2 at the tiny home. The tiny home was perfect when it got really cold and was able to have a good comfortable shelter. The campsite was great and remote but still able to have the longhorns roaming nearby. I would 100% recommend to anyone in this area and plan to stay next time I’m over that way.

Weekend Trip to K.C. Ranch

We were unable to camp there due to storms so we ended up in a hotel. Glenda invited us out over to Ranch over The Weekend so we could spend some time with her on the ranch. We did go to the ranch and spent about 4 hours. We met her Longhorns, fed them and got to spend some time in the garden. Glenda is a fabulous hostess. We had a great time! She also gave us places we should visit. I’m definitely going back in the Spring!

This was such a special place, and we loved the wooded seclusion of site 5. The hammock was a treat for our daughters, and our dogs loved roaming around off leash. The trails and property are so well maintained, and the owners were incredibly hospitable. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great time at site 2. Easy access to the composting toilet (which is awesome!) for my toddlers and it was nice and open for them to run around. The picnic table, hammocks, and grate for cooking over the fire were awesome additions as well!! Our second time staying with Glenda, and we had a fantastic time again! We went on a very nice long ranch tour seeing many corners of the property, and left with some delicious eggs and vegetables from the garden. We made some tomato sauce and still have loads of cherry tomatoes left over to eat. We stayed in the campsite off the road this time, as our car didn’t have enough clearance to make it through the cow pasture as we did last time. It was a really pleasant and beautiful place to camp, and we were still free to roam as we pleased around the property. Glenda is always the kindest host with so much knowledge of the area, and always available to help out campers. Will be coming back, of course.

This was the best camping trip ever!! 100 acres to yourself. Hundreds of longhorn cattle free roaming around your camp site. Casey and Glenda were amazing hosts. Taking us on a tour of the ranch, feed the longhorn cattle, went fishing in multiple ponds, learned to rope, and even test out a bucking bronco training rig. I would encourage anyone who goes to this ranch to purchase the longhorn steaks and farm fresh eggs while you are there. Delicious! Glenda and Casey were again the best hosts you could ever want. Treated us like family and accommodated us tremendously. Thanks Casey and Glenda for everything

We loved the entire time we had at the ranch. Glenda was so accommodating and kind despite us booking at the very last minute. She put us up in her tiny house for the night to save us from an awesome storm that passed over and probably would’ve soaked us through. Her grandson Casey showed us the longhorns and taught us many things about the ranch and the area. Really awesome dude, he took us fishing and taught me how to use a baitcaster and I showed him how to fly fish a little bit. No shortage of catching fish and time with super sweet dogs. Had no clue Oklahoma was such an amazing place, wish we could have stayed longer.
