We had a blast despite the 🥶 It’s more spacious than I thought and the A-frame is so cute. We loved our stay 🫶 This was my first time using a woodstove for a whole night and let’s just say lesson were learned 😂 We will definitely be back again!

Cozy and warm A frame! Nice wood stove that is easy to use. The loft bed was comfortable, remember to bring your bedding! We brought a couple strands of twinkle lights and made this magical little getaway perfect. Solar lights illuminate the pathway to the outhouse. We left a candle for the next guests. Enjoy!

Truly a unique stay in a good location. A frame is just as described. Comfortable sleeping loft. The cooking grills on the firepit were clutch! It was so nice to be in nature but still just a short drive to the many sights, hikes and hospitality of lake Seneca. Watching sunsets and sunrise from the a frame was wonderful. I had good cell service.

I had a great stay in the A-Frame! This was a relatively last-minute booking on a solo road trip and Andrew did a great job making sure that I had everything I needed and went out of his way to make sure I was all set. The cabin was very comfortable and it was awesome to watch the moonrise through the large front window. I loved the wood-burning stove and it did a great job keeping me warm all night. The site was easy enough to find in the dark, but I did feel grateful that I had a four-wheel-drive vehicle, especially since it was a bit muddy. I would definitely come back for another stay!

Lovely little cabin. The woodstove kept it plenty warm overnight with temps in the 40s, but you may want sleeping bags and warm clothes if it's colder at night. Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake.

Was easy to find, wood stands near by to keep heated in the rainy weather i experienced and very close to Watkins and ithaca. It was beautiful the sleeping was comfortable, was perfect for a new years eve disconnecting and spending time in nature with my pup.

Had a really nice stay and the host was great! Answered all of my questions and even left me some firewood. I did also bring plenty and kept a fire going all night long 😊
In the morning it was beautiful hearing the birds wake up outside. A lot of different species hanging around the site! Will definitely stay again

Where to go
Cayuga and Owasco Lakes
East of Seneca Lake, adventurous campers can choose between walk-in sites or enjoy backcountry tent sites in the Finger Lakes National Forest. Hiking trails, wineries, and waterfalls dot the shores of Cayuga Lake. Neighboring Owasco Lake is a water sports hotspot, where boating, fishing, and water skiing are the main activities.
Onondaga County
Woodland tent camping, lakeside fishing, and a renowned craft beer scene await at the eastern edge of the Finger Lakes Region. Syracuse is the county’s largest city, but there are also plenty of ways to explore the outdoors. Cruise Skaneateles Lake by boat or kayak, discover tranquil fishing spots at Lake Otisco, or enjoy seasonal camping in Green Lakes State Park.
Western Lakes
To the west of the Finger Lakes region, the “little lakes” of Conesus, Hemlock, Canadice, and Honeoye are where to escape the crowds. Hike along forest trails, enjoy kayaking or fishing on the lakes in summer, or hit the ski slopes at Bristol Mountain in winter. Camping options are limited, but you’ll find cabins and full hookup sites at Conesus Lake, and plenty of choices around nearby Canandaigua Lake.
Lake Ontario
North of Seneca Lake, the Great Lake Ontario marks the border between New York State and Ontario, Canada. Rochester is the gateway to the lake, and state parks, beaches, and wetlands fringe the south shore. Go hiking in the Chimney Bluffs State Park, spot wildlife around the Lake Shore Marshes, or choose from various camping options around Sodus Bay or Port Bay.
