Quiet getaway in the pines! Welcome to the Holmestead, our own little slice of Montana that we are really excited to bring back to life and share with YOU! We are small town Kansas natives who fell in love with Montana over 15 years ago. This property is equal parts privacy and concience, you can enjoy the peace and quite of nature while also having the ability to hop over a few miles to our little town for groceries, a local beer, or to gas up your car!

The Holmestead is a rustic dry cabin on 5 acres nestled between Mill Creek and a seasonal run off stream with easy access to the highway and only a 10 min drive to Missoula. A queen bed, futon and air mattress are available for sleeping!

Family and pet friendly property with plenty of space to pitch a tent next to the cabin if you have more guests in your party (tents will be an additional fee, $10 per person in addition to the 4 person cabin max). Excellent cell service if you have Verizon or carriers that pull from those towers.

Attractions: Walking distance to forestry service roads. 15 minutes to the Missoula Airport and an additional 10 minutes to the heart of Missoula and all it has to offer. If you are looking for more adventure there is always an endless amount of recreation near, whether you want to drive 5 minutes to mountain bike or 3 hours to Glacier National Park, there is something for everyone! If you have questions about fun things to do please reach out to us!

Parking: Reserved parking for guests in the main driveway or in the clearing near the cabin.

Water: Portable toilet onsite, sealson warm shower and sink also available, we recently upgraded to a JOOLCA hot water system so guests can have running water and a warm outdoor shower. We provide 5 gal of potable water in the colder months and have running water nearby for easy refill of water containers if needed in the warmer months.

Pets allowed. We do have 2 very frienly dogs that roam the property freely, if you pet is reactive please let us know so we can monitor our dogs when letting them outside to do their business. Please be sure to pick up after your animals.

Boulder Creek Lodge

Located in a valley halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, you’ll find Boulder Creek Lodge and RV Park. Our place is special for what surrounds it, but it’s also special for what we have right here on the property.

We offer travelers RV sites (with hookup), camping sites, and ten fully furnished, clean and comfortable cabins, Tipis and Conestoga Wagon for the glamping (glamorous camping) experience.  Linens provided for cabins, tipis and wagon.  Guests have access to the shower house (showers, toilets, sinks) with laundry facilities (2 coin-op washers - 2 dryers), property playground, and the Lodge with game room, sitting room, communal kitchen and recently updated bathrooms/showers.  All guests are welcome to use horseshoe pit, community fire pits and wi-fi access.

Our guests can unplug, kick back, and relax with their families in one of the country's most beautiful locations.

Mission Falls Ranch

A 154 acre working ranch that has been operating over 100 years, situated in a wildlife corridor joining the Mission Mountain wilderness with the Flathead River and Bison Range. The camping site is located along 300 feet of the Mission Creek with scattered 100 year old pine trees. A nature walk to 3 walking bridges, with spectacular mountain views, an old cedar grove and a bald eagle nest is available. Access to the creek is possible from the camp site, although some areas of the ranch are off-limits due to ranch operation and private dwellings.

The cabin overlooks a spring-fed pond and wetlands, home to elk, moose, deer, native trout, ducks, geese, great blue herons, and the occasional frog chorus. We are modern-day homesteaders who have worked from&nbsp;bare land to build simple necessities into suitable amenities, into small luxuries. For us, having a roof over our head, a campfire to share stories with our guests, an outdoor shower, electricity, water, a peaceful forest that surrounds us - they are all luxuries that we love, and sharing them with our guests makes hosting the best job ever!&nbsp;

Enjoy your personal view of the Montana sky without having to leave your bed when you're indoors. Or take a walk outside for the ultimate jaw drop!

Your simple yet effective kitchen with a camping cooktop, water, coffee/tea fixings.  

You'll have full access to a well-stocked shared kitchen (fridge, small oven, BBQ, etc) in the commons area just a two-minute walk away.  

You can lift the wing, or keep it closed, best part of this design are the stars you get to see at night!

Last Best Place

&nbsp;Safely leave your camp in the shade,&nbsp;under tall pine trees.&nbsp; Enjoy horses grazing nearby and explore Greenough, the last best place.&nbsp; The best swimming hole on the Clearwater River is located less than a mile away.&nbsp; World class fishing and floating on multiple rivers including the Big Blackfoot&nbsp;are nearby.&nbsp; Salmon Lake and Seeley Lake have limited campsites but are located just 10 to 20 miles away from this spot for fabulous fishing and boating adventures. The Clearwater Game Range is 2 miles away for hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.&nbsp; I almost forgot to mention the well preserved and&nbsp;nearby ghost towns of Garnet and&nbsp; Coloma.&nbsp; &nbsp;This truly is, the last best campsite in the last best place.    Large family reunions and gatherings welcome!  I will open as many camp sites as you need.

This is a non-smoking, Family friendly dry cabin. Pets are allowed as long as you clean up after them and don't allow them on the furniture. We love our fur babies!
Property is located just north of Seeley Lake Beach. Lots of room to ride bikes with trails accessible nearby.  Access to Deer Creek as well.  Owner will be on the property from time to time staying at their cabin, so you may see them here and there. Excellent property to set up folf nets or just enjoy the quiet scenery of deer and listen to the birds.  We just ask that you keep the property clean and be respectful.  Pack in pack out. 

Swan Adventure Acres

My property is less than a mile off MT-83, between Seeley Lake and Condon. I back up to both Lolo and Flathead National Forest. Less than a quarter mile from the back of my land are trail systems for all kinds of recreation. Off road, hunting, hiking, fishing. Minutes to Lindbergh Lake. Only 15 minutes to all Seeley Lake has to offer. Enjoy the wilderness as your backyard, but still have easy access to town and great ATT cell service. The access road is a little rough, but I can get my 40ft class A up with no issue.
