Our Primitive Camping Farm is located just outside the city limits of Holts Summit, MO.Sitting on an old dirt road you'll find our large open field just waiting for you to pitch your tent and relax.  You'll find peace and tranquility while enjoying the big open sky and fresh country air; all while just minutes from modern conveniences (gas stations, grocery store, restaurants).Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent in this wide-open country field located just outside the city limits of Holts Summit, MO which is just minutes from Jefferson City, MO.  Ideal for tents but campers are also welcome, just please NOTE:  This is a Primitive Camping Farm so electricity & running water are NOT available.

There were beautiful trees surrounding the property and trails back into the woods to explore!

There is also a community fire pit available for your use!

And a picnic table, perfect for eating meals, using to roast s'mores, or just to relax and enjoy good conversation with friends.

This was the perfect spot to relax and read a book in the afternoon!

Ive own this land since 2005 and have used it for camping, parties, and venue.Learn more about this land:This is a 180 acres of camping along the Gasconade River. Lots of great spots for camping, hiking, and UTV/ATV riding. 50% forest, 10% trails, 20% along river, 10% bluffs, and 10% flat with grass field. 

We dropped our s'mores skewer down in the circle table...wondered what else was down there. It's yours if you can retrieve it. : )

Down by the river to cool off in the summer.

Rent a Kayak, Canoe, or a Tube and take to the Gasconade river.

Camping in the Fall with the colors is fabulous.

Loved the woods... we were here early May only saw one tick

Loft Apartment at Camp Claircrest

Lovely forty (40) acres with a pond, park area and several camping/RV spots! Buildings available for other activities per request and booking.  Also a Loft Apartment for short term rental.

All visitors must adhere to the guidelines to be onsite as there is dog training and other businesses.  Dogs allowed per request and approval with an additional fee. 

Retreat to the Country

This land has been asking to be shared. First it was swings and little things for the grandchildren and their friends. Then the Cabin by the pond began to welcome visitors. Soon the steep slope anchored a Yurt with a wrap-around deck that puts you up in the trees. Our gathering spot by the creek became a camp site. Recently the grandkids' Bunk House found its way in. Our Retreat is 10 acres, narrow, but 1/4 mile deep, stretching down a steep wooded slope to a creek - and up the other side to the top of a bluff.  It is only ten miles to Jefferson City but has a quiet and distant feel.  

The BunkHouse is tucked in next to the big shed alongside the drive to the Yurt. Just so that you know that it is not in a remote location.

Real bed for a good night's sleep. Queen sized for space.

Learn more about this land:We offer a peaceful setting with a wonderful lake view.  You can fish for crappie, bass, catfish, blue gil, goggleye and perch.  Take a hike around the farm and maybe see some cows and wildlife.  Or sit around a camp fire telling stories and enjoying the stars.
