Start your day in Base Camp, the hub of activity at Howler. If you need a caffeine kick to get you started, we've got you covered with a specialty coffee drink, blended, or smoothie at Howler Coffee Shop!
And, Chef Dustin is now serving breakfast with three delicious options to power you up for your day!
Around noon and throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely-delicious food at the Growl Grill.
Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear.
Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We have got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center.
We have beer and wine available at the Growl Grill, and you’re welcome to take your purchases to your tent to enjoy!
New in Spring 2023, is our Skills Park and our Children's Play Area-complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes--and a beautiful cedar swing set!
We also have a mile round trip Hiking Trail through the woods where you can see glimpses of riders shredding the mountain trails. Feel like a break at the top of the hike? We've got a picnic table so you can enjoy the scenery and eat some mouth-watering food from the Growl Grill!
We also have our all-new bathrooms and showers, complete with shampoo/body wash and hair dryers.
And you can keep all your necessary items near you while you ride with our all-new lockers. They're free and you only need to enter a four-digit code of your choosing to use them.

Our little spot is called B Berry Farms and Co. We are a 40-acre family U-Pick Berry farm and 24-hour Campground with 5 RV spots with 20 amp, 30 amp or 50amp electricity your choice. And we are right in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks with over 4,000 you-pick Berry bushes (and fresh produce in 24' )covering 7 acres, we have something for almost everyone. Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

We loved staying here! Claire and Myke are so nice and their property feels private. The bed was comfy and our space was warm. We loved watching the goats and liked have the dogs near- they are very well-behaved. We’ll be back again soon!

Weekend Trip to Howler Bike Park Stays
We had an amazing experience at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer and John were the most accommodating hosts and truly went above and beyond. The temperature got very low this weekend and they went so far as to buy extra blankets and took them around to make sure we were warm enough. The glamping tent was spacious and close to the fire pit, restrooms, and all the great things at Base Camp. The restrooms and showers were very nice and well kept. The coffee shop, welcome center, the food truck - it was all spectacular. We will absolutely be coming back again.

We absolutely loved staying at Howler. The owners have really thought about everything. It was a beautiful hike to get to the tents, but staff came to help with gear and bikes right after we called. The tents were spacious, beds were comfortable, and they are just the coziest and cutest thing. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, and it was nice to have private shower rooms. We can’t say enough nice things about the owners and staff. John and Jen go above and beyond to make you feel like family while you’re there. The hiking trail and Swingset were great for kids and non-bikers, and the bike trails were a great challenge. We would recommend this place just for a weekend getaway, even if you’re not into mountain biking.

We absolutely loved our stay in the bunkhouse tent at Howler Bike Park! It was the perfect mix of comfort and adventure — cozy, clean, and super convenient for hitting the trails early. The setup had everything we needed and the atmosphere was awesome. Falling asleep under the trees and waking up right next to the bike park made the whole trip even better. Highly recommend it to anyone riding at Howler or just looking for a fun outdoor getaway.

We loved the Howler Hideout! It was the perfect size space for the 3 of us (my husband and our toddler). The space was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you might need, & there is even onsite laundry. And of course, the best part was that you could go ride or visit base camp, then pop right back up stairs to grab a snack or get warm.

We went to Howler for a quick weekend adventure, the Howler Hospitality quickly captured our hearts. Caution: staying here, you will feel like you are part of the family, you will be in a whole (amazing) mid century modern vibe, and the coffee and food—AMAZING! We thought we would go out to dinner one night, but there was no way we were giving up the peace and good vibes of Howler. They lit a fire for us every night at Basecamp and the bed, omg a dream. Five stars is not enough. They knocked it out of the park with this place. Great mountain bike trails, hiking, coffee, food and even better humans. We are so thankful for Jen, John, Chef, Bean and the whole crew. We’ll be back soon with more family & friends.

1 night at Howler Bike Park Stays
I've visited howler bike park before to ride, but this was my first time staying in a glamping air conditioned tent. it was everything I needed and very convenient being about 100 yards from Basecamp. the air conditioner had no problem keeping the tent in the low 70s. the mattresses are high quality memory foam, honestly a little firm for my preference, but I slept great after a whole day of riding. I would absolutely rent a glamping tent again.

Our family of 4 + 1 small child absolutely LOVED staying overnight at Howler! The staff were EXTREMELY welcoming and kind. The hideaway apartment was extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. The washer and dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Everything was carefully thought out. Being on the bike trails was extremely convenient and in nature was very peaceful.

Where to go
Mark Twain National Forest
Named for another Missouri author, Mark Twain National Forest covers 1.5 million acres in Missouri, and large sections can be explored south of Mansfield in the Ava/Cassville/Willow Springs District. Oak and pine forests, wide-open glades, rollicking hills, and rambling springs greet visitors to this slice of the Ozark Mountains. Dispersed campsites and dry camping can be enjoyed in this scenic environment. Public camping can also be found at conservation areas near the town of Ava.
Springfield, Missouri
Known as the “Queen City of the Ozarks,” Springfield is the largest city in southwest Missouri. It celebrates its Route 66 history, local colleges, and role as the birthplace of Bass Pro Shops. The original store and the attached Wonders of Wildlife Museum are major attractions. Numerous private RV parks can be found, offering amenities such as free wifi and full hookups. Cabin and glamping rentals dot the surrounding region.
Branson, Missouri
One of Missouri’s biggest tourism draws is the town of Branson, which offers a lively mix of theme parks, family attractions, live music shows, and over-the-top museums. While the town’s main strip resembles a mini Las Vegas, the campgrounds are surprisingly scenic. Private RV parks abound, adding to the family fun and offering free wifi and full hookups, with campsites under a canopy of trees. Venture outside of town to find scenery and serenity, with public camping offered on the shores of Table Rock Lake at state park and Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds.
When to go
If you’re visiting Mansfield to explore all things Laura Ingalls Wilder, September’s Wilder Days festival is a must. If you’re not into Wilder, this might be a time to avoid the town, as it attracts more visitors than usual. Though much of the area can be a year-round destination, visitors should note that summer is generally hot and humid and winter can be cold and snowy. Fall and spring usually offer mild weather and changing scenery.
