If you need a caffeine kick to get you started, we've got you covered with a specialty coffee drink, blended, or smoothie at Howler Coffee Shop! And, Chef Dustin is now serving breakfast with three delicious options to power you up for your day! Around noon and throughout the day, you can enjoy Chef's insanely-delicious food at the Growl Grill. Stop in the Welcome Center for bike passes, Howler merch, and bike gear. Are you shredding with us and need a new tube or tire change? We have got you taken care of in Howler Bike Co. next to the Welcome Center. We have beer and wine available at the Growl Grill, and you’re welcome to take your purchases to your tent to enjoy! New in Spring 2023, is our Skills Park and our Children's Play Area-complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes--and a beautiful cedar swing set! We also have a mile round trip Hiking Trail through the woods where you can see glimpses of riders shredding the mountain trails. Feel like a break at the top of the hike? We've got a picnic table so you can enjoy the scenery and eat some mouth-watering food from the Growl Grill! The front door of the cabin is closer to Eden Falls than the trail head itself, located in the Boxley Valley. We loved the Howler Hideout! It was the perfect size space for the 3 of us (my husband and our toddler). The space was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated! The kitchen was stocked with everything that you might need, & there is even onsite laundry. And of course, the best part was that you could go ride or visit base camp, then pop right back up stairs to grab a snack or get warm.

We went to Howler for a quick weekend adventure, the Howler Hospitality quickly captured our hearts. Caution: staying here, you will feel like you are part of the family, you will be in a whole (amazing) mid century modern vibe, and the coffee and food—AMAZING! We thought we would go out to dinner one night, but there was no way we were giving up the peace and good vibes of Howler. They lit a fire for us every night at Basecamp and the bed, omg a dream. Five stars is not enough. They knocked it out of the park with this place. Great mountain bike trails, hiking, coffee, food and even better humans. We are so thankful for Jen, John, Chef, Bean and the whole crew. We’ll be back soon with more family & friends.

Spectacular view, cozy, private. It was a great stay and so much to do around Buffalo River and other state parks. Eden Falls is an absolute must! Just don't take Stoverville Road all the way! We did & it was great but only if you have a 4WD truck or other off-road vehicle! Newton County is a dry county so if you like adult beverages, bring your own. Same with food, bring enough and any special condiments. Ronald supplies cookware, etc. Comfy bed too!

The washer and dryer in the unit was an added bonus. Everything was carefully thought out. Being on the bike trails was extremely convenient and in nature was very peaceful.

The cabin was well put together, and my family loved the charm of the ranch. Having a hot outdoor shower was wonderful. Even as a family of 6, it seemed like there was plenty of extra room to move around the cabin when needed. The kids loved the experience, and the parents were more than satisfied. Our only gripe is that we didn't plan more time to explore. Next time we'll have to stay a couple days at least!

This cabin was fully kitted out with everything I needed, including an extra quilt for the bed. Plenty of room for the things I also brought, including my sewing basket and writing tools. I used Verizon for connectivity but did notice a 2-bar wifi available. After kindly greeting me and making sure I was comfortable, Linda left me to find my own peace. I took several walks. This property has a ton of berry brambles and if you time it right, I bet you could add fresh-picked berries to your breakfast. Neighboring land offered views of dogwood blossoms - those carefree night-gowned girls of the woods running together over the hills - and plenty of squirrels and birds to view. If you do come as a couple, the two twin beds will give you a king-equivalent and I think you will be able to make and enjoy coffee right from bed. Ha! The trundle would easily lower and tuck back under the main bed during the day. Sturdy cottage with a generous porch. Clean toilet. This home is off the beaten path and has no google-mapped address but is one of several small farms. Roosters kept in touch with each other! And horses in the next farm over. All in all a great place to land if you are exploring the area or need to retreat for a bit.

Wow! I can’t say enough good about this place. My fiancé and I rented the whole campground for our joint bachelorette/bachelor party. The grounds are beautiful and it has a fantastic view of the hillside. Both the cabins are cute and cozy with water and coffee inside. The outdoor kitchens are great for a large group. Plenty of outlets around and lots of grills as well. We did the outdoor movie the first night which was super fun and I highly recommend! We got to feed and pet the goats who were so cute. The hike to the falls is well marked and the falls are very pretty. Claire and Myke are attentive and fun loving and I am so happy I booked this place for our party. All of my friends had the best time and can’t stop talking about how we want to come back!

It was a great retreat for one person. The trail through the woods was well cleared and I enjoyed several walks. Linda and Ron are kind and good hosts. The wifi didn't work well enough for my laptop to connect, but I did have service on my phone via Verizon data. The cabin has both heating and cooling and is well thought out. There are plenty of trees to bring a hammock.
