The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away. This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.) We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.   We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).   Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

Expect peace and quiet here, with the exception of the occasional mama cow calling to her calf. Great spot to spend the night near the junction of I-49 & I-44. Ride bicycles, kayak on the ponds, take a walk in peace. Small town of Jasper is a few miles away, with RoadHouse Grocery and Liquor store, RV dump stations on both sides of the highway, and 4 fuel stops. Lamar (birthplace of Harry S Truman) is 8 miles north. If you're traveling with horses, there is a 1-acre pen available for holding them overnight. It is 6-strand electrified high-tensile wire with a pipe swing gate and a galvanized water tank. There's also a worked arena with small pens to keep horses separate but adjacent to one another upon request. Negative Coggins required. Prairie hay small squares available for purchase. Riding is not allowed. We have 2 horses on site that are vaccinated and Coggins negative. We have friendly medium-sized dogs. Yours are welcome to run free with the pack. Learn more about this land: Situated atop a ridge in SW MO, on the eastern edge of the great plains just west of the Ozark Mountain foothills, you’ll have beautiful farmland views to the east, south and west, including incredible sunsets over the water of our pond (fish all you want, pull out crappie slabs for dinner). Expect peace and quiet here, with the exception of the occasional mama cow calling to her calf. Great spot to spend the night near the junction of I-49 & I-44. Ride bicycles, kayak on the ponds, take a walk in peace. Small town of Jasper is a few miles away, with RoadHouse Grocery and Liquor store, RV dump stations on both sides of the highway, and 4 fuel stops. Lamar (birthplace of Harry S Truman) is 8 miles north. If you're traveling with horses, there is a 1-acre pen available for holding them overnight. It is 6-strand electrified high-tensile wire with a pipe swing gate and a galvanized water tank. There's also a worked arena with small pens to keep horses separate but adjacent to one another upon request. Negative Coggins required. Prairie hay small squares available for purchase. Riding is not allowed. We have 2 horses on site that are vaccinated and Coggins negative. We have friendly medium-sized dogs. Yours are welcome to run free with the pack. Expect the usual sniffing around and getting to know one another behavior.

This was such a lovely camp site. Nestled on the outskirts of Springfield, just close enough to the city without the business. It’s a beautiful berry farm with so much to do. The site has loads of outdoor games and activities, a kitchen, a wonderful outdoor shower, and anything else you may need. We ended up extending another day because we enjoyed it so well. Would recommend completely. The owners of the property were also extremely kind and helpful with everything!!

This farm is EXCEPTIONAL. Teresa accommodated everything we asked for and then some! Perfect for our kids, they loved it. The sounds were peaceful, the land is gorgeous! The trails were beautiful. You can tell they put so much work into it. From the flowerbeds to the handmade signs. It’s truly a place you’ll never want to leave. The homemade food was the best baked good I’ve had in my entire life. ✨10/10 RECOMMEND . ✨

Third year in a row at B Berry Farms and not a single complaint. Teresa is always cheerful, pleasant and willing to make sure your stay at the campgrounds is a good experience. This year I needed to stay an extra unplanned night and Teresa made that happen for me without any issues. The campgrounds are quiet and and far from any heavy traffic or city lights. Even though the campsite I have used the last 2 visits is close to the entry from the paved road I have only heard a few vehicles drive by after dark and a few more after sunrise each night. Next year I plan on taking advantage of their new A frame cabin and leaving the tent at home. Fully recommend a stay here if you need to camp in this area.

The field had a tree line easily seen Fire pit and firewood ready. The animals are all friendly and they everyone is great to work with. There is water available but it is really a dry camping location. Self contained is best camping but the place and people are fantastic. We had no complaints. We strung up a hammock and enjoyed the fire, lightening bugs and stars!
