This 18 acre homestead is conveniently located right on Hwy 64, only 7 miles from the Stantonville Amish community; Shiloh Battlefield and archaeological site; and Savannah, TN. The town of Adamsville (home of Sheriff Buford Pusser!) is only 1.5 miles away, for convenient access to grocery and gas stations. Because we are right on the highway, guests should note that vehicle noise can be heard, especially during weekday working hours. The evenings and early mornings are generally peaceful, and for those seeking a camp spot with easy access, this is the spot for youThere's a 1-acre spring fed pond at the back of the property that's great for swimming, sitting and relaxing, or even fishing (though there's not much in there but perch!) We maintain a 1-mile loop path around our pastures perfect for an early morning or evening stroll, and there is a small 4-5 acre wood guests are also welcome to explore. There is a designated campfire area, and we kindly ask guests not to burn fires at their campsite. These folks have a really nice little hobby farm with some farm stock in a cute barn. They provide access to a really cool private porch near the lake. Campsite was flat and up-to-date. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, albeit just passing through.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The night we stayed got down to 17°, so we didn’t explore a lot! But John and Emily were both fabulous hosts. I would definitely recommend it. And if I’m ever back that way, I know where to go!

Sevylla was a great host and her property was perfect for my solo weekend trip to Tennessee. Sevylla met me on arrival, showed me around the property and was extremely nice and helpful. The campsite was very clean and well maintained and the platform for my tent made for a comfortable nights sleep. Would definitely stay here in the future.

This location was easy to find and absolutely beautiful! John and his family were very friendly and welcoming. I pulled in about an hour before sunset, setup, made dinner, and found a peaceful cozy place to eat that overlooks the lake. The sunset and sunrise was beautiful! Hung out by the lake until the sun went down. The bathroom was easy to find and shower was warm. Thanks for opening your property to Hipcamp and for your welcoming hospitality.

I unfortunately got there too late to properly enjoy all that there was to offer. The lake was beautiful. The animals around were fun to see. I introduced my dog to some of them for her first time. There was a breeze way area for a place to cook, eat, shower, and even hang out. I was unlucky and got rained on during the night, but luckily there's a pavillion with a roof that I moved my tent under.

The site was level. large fishing pond to catch and release. There was a screened in porch with a full bathroom and kitchenette space for your use. There was not a stove though so keep that in mind. My only concern was that the water and power for the rv sites were shared..so if both sites were being used 1 person would need an extra long water and power cord. The animals were all friendly.
