Everything went well! It was an easy in and easy out location. All the hook ups worked great. Hosts were friendly and helpful, but gave you privacy, as well. Property was landscaped beautifully with gorgeous flowers and surrounded by forest. Site was level. It was just an all-around great place to stop!

Our stay was pretty much what we were looking for - secluded, quiet, and comfortable. The best part was the staff. They were beyond just friendly and professional, but were also very accommodating. They gave us a side-by-side tour of the property, let us borrow a phone charger, and even offered us fishing poles and bait to use in the two beautiful ponds. If you are looking for something secluded and quiet where you can just relax and enjoy nature, we strongly recommend.

I enjoyed the privacy. Still new to camping and felt comfortable in the elements solo. There are decent size catfish if you're into fishing. Appreciated being left alone while still being able to reach him in a timely manner if I needed anything. Gave tips and information to help.

We had a great stay. We pitched our tent close to the entrance for the use of electricity. There was lots of clutter around and the grass needed cutting, but we made the best of it. If it were a little cooler we would have definitely camped closer to the small swimming hole. We stayed 2 nights. Vincent was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. Great place for an overnight stay with a small RV or if you want to pitch a tent in the woods for a night.

Spent 1 night on our way back home to Louisiana. Easy to find day/night (we arrived after dark), it’s ,secure, secluded, perfect for a tent or a self-contained RV. We were in a 32’ motor home and had no problem getting in/out of the property. There’s an awesome creek with couple of waterfalls. There’s a 3’ waterfall. that you could put a float or two in the 4’ pool below and just lose yourself in the beauty and peacefulness of nature there. I got in the creek and walked it a bit. I would’ve had my float in that pool if, we didn’t have to head back home. The stars are beautiful in the evening. My husband & I, are looking forward to planning a trip back in the near future to spend a whole weekend enjoying the property & creek. Perfect place to get away from everything and yet, near to stores and interstate

We loved our night at the Rock Hill campsite! The parked close to the picnic table, which is conveniently located in the shade of a mature tree, overlooking the pond. As others have mentioned, the available flush toilet was a nice perk! We arrived about an hour before dusk, so didn’t have much of a chance to enjoy the site until morning- but the next day we took our time getting going and saw some fabulous bird activity on the water- herons, geese, etc. Very peaceful spot! Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to Camp Strong Wood
Chris was terrific from the moment we arrived. The cabin was adequate for our needs and the outdoor kitchen on the porch was perfect. The land and the lake are beautiful. Fresh from the lake fish fried for dinner! A great getaway and we will be back.
