Great stay! The location was perfect—quiet, convenient, and easy to find. Hookups were simple and everything worked smoothly. Amanda was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Peabody Small House

What a peaceful and tranquil place to have as home base to explore Detroit and Ann Arbor Michigan. Temps were high, so having a 50 Amp hook up was so important to us to be able to run our a/c. Also being able to fill some water in our tanks was very helpful as it has been hard to find publicly. Camping World is only 12 miles away in Chelsea and the dump is free if you have A Good Sam’s membership. The hosts were responsive when we needed them but also gave us our space to do our own thing. We were in a 34 ft class A RV and we fit, but you may need some help being guided in, so let them know when you are close by.

Algonac State Park

Northeast of Dearborn, where the St. Clair River feeds into St. Clair Lake, is Algonac State Park. This preserve spans more than 1,500 acres with large areas open for day use along the riverbank, plus hiking trails and a 1,200-acre dedicated natural area. The park is home to rare habitats for birds, plants, and butterflies that are considered endangered. Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area

Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area, a large park surrounding picturesque Lake Minnawanna, is just north of Dearborn.
