The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I received a tour of the campsite and was able to pick my spot. Bill moved the picnic table to the area I chose to camp at. The property was clean although I was told there was no hot water in the shower. But it was so hot outside the cool water was welcoming. The land and sites are beautiful. Especially the sun setting and rising off the lake.

Roads need lots of work and low hanging branches aren’t good for big rigs. We managed to get our 42 ft with tow in but were very concerned about getting back out! No big problems, hit bottom a couple of times but managed to get through very tight gate at the exit without scratches on our rig. Lovely spot but obvious owner has lost interest. They mentioned it was for sale!!

This campsite was AWESOME!! Bill and the other host whose name I didn’t catch were hilarious and friendly, and the site was beautiful. The small trail was lovely and the sound of the cicadas and animals was so peaceful. Definitely recommend keeping up the “leave it better than you found it” policy.

Bill was awesome. He was a big help setting up and super friendly... The location is awesome and the setting is lovely.. I brought my two grandchildren and it was a great great away without the long travel time. Perfect!!!!!

The host was great and very accommodating. Laura took her time to offer us recommendations for eating, etc over the Memorial Day weekend. Aside from the mixed weather, everything went smoothly. We will look forward to visiting again sometime!

It was a fantastic place to stay. The view by the lake was beautiful and the huge pavilion covers picnic tables for a lot of people to gather. I would love to come back😄
The only thing I would recommend is to bring extra toilet paper as many people use there and it might be out of stock.

We love brooks lake. It was rainy so we couldn’t enjoy its full splendor, but overall it was peacefully, quiet, clean & the owner bill is kind and very straight to the point with directions and setup. All they ask is that we respect the land and clean up after ourselves. We had a lovely time I would recommend this place to anyone needing a moment of real peace. :)

Brooks Lake is a tranquil getaway nicely tucked away in a small town not far outside of Atlanta that provides wonderful views coupled with a litany of lakeside amenities, provided by hosts who care just as much for their beautiful property as they do for their guests. the on-site area is very spacious, and the delightful host provides a tour upon arrival combined with opportunity to evaluate and pick your perfect setup spot. we will definitely keep Brooks Lake on the shortlist, if every back in the area!

Had a great time camping at Brooks Lake! Did a quick day trip to relax and reset with my dog. The grounds are very welcoming and some great fishing happening during the day and quiet camping at night. When I arrived the host met with me and showed me around and even pointed out some really nice spots for me to setup. Would recommend visiting for a nice close to town getaway.

Beautiful place to camp. Our eight year old son had a blast swimming in the lake and catching tadpoles. Hosts are very friendly and responsive. The barrooms and the shower were clean. We will return for sure.

This is our 2nd time visiting! This time we gathered for a Spring Break Family Camp. Our group ranged from toddlers to grown folks.
It was perfect for our largest group of 6 families. We were able to use the canoes, fish, play volleyball, & grill.
We will definitely use this beautiful, quiet, location for our next family camp.
