Our resort, a private ownership camping destination within Mountain Lakes Resort, is situated in the picturesque foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just six miles west of the charming Alpine Village of Helen, Georgia. Open year-round, Horseshoe Trails offers a serene retreat surrounded by the expansive 750,000-acre Chattahoochee National Forest. At Horseshoe Trails, we pride ourselves on our fully equipped, lighted RV sites, each featuring 30-foot concrete pads, a deck or concrete patio, a table, and a BBQ grill. For your convenience, we provide laundry facilities and wireless internet access. Our accommodations include eight spacious cabins that can sleep six guests and three smaller cabins for four. Tent sites are also available for owners and cardholders of Mountain Lakes Resort. While all rentals are non-smoking and not pet-friendly, our campground RV sites welcome pets, provided they are leashed and cleaned up after.
