Since then, it has regrown into hardwood forest, dotted with remnants of pine. It feels wild and untouched, despite knowing it's history. Two Roots Ridge is a small developing mother-daughter homestead located on a quiet ridge near Hardy, Arkansas in the Spring River Country community, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains (Ozark Plateaus). Our property offers simple, peaceful camping for travelers looking to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience a quiet rural setting. Guests may stay in RV, van, or tent sites tucked into our wooded ridge property. The land is still a work in progress as we continue building and improving the homestead, so visitors should expect a rustic, honest setup rather than a fully developed campground. Evenings bring starry skies, quiet country nights, and the peaceful rhythm of rural life. We also operate a small cottage bakery on the property called Two Roots Rising, and fresh baked goods may occasionally be available during your stay. Our chickens also keep us stocked with farm fresh eggs, which are sometimes available from our small homestead stand when the girls are laying well. Two Roots Ridge is conveniently located near several Ozark favorites: • Spring River (10–15 minutes) – floating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming • Historic Hardy (about 12 minutes) – antique shops, cafés, and art galleries • Mammoth Spring State Park (20 minutes) – one of the largest natural springs in the U.S. • Lake Sherwood & Lake Navajo (15–20 minutes) – quiet kayaking and fishing spots • Scenic Ozark backroads and trails ideal for hiking, photography, and relaxed drives We currently host a small number of RV and van campers, with additional tent and glamping sites planned as the homestead develops. I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020. I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town. As I learn things, I hope to share the information with anyone that may be interested. Learn more about this land: Peace, quiet, alone time or get away from the hustle. Located in the Ozark's.  No freeways for miles. Lots to do around and at edge of small town community. I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards.  I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .   I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for.  Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure.  There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Guests may stay in RV, van, or tent sites tucked into our wooded ridge property. The land is still a work in progress as we continue building and improving the homestead, so visitors should expect a rustic, honest setup rather than a fully developed campground. We do offer electric and water hookups, along with a shower tent and porta-potty facilities for guest use. The property is surrounded by woods, wildlife, and the natural sounds of the Ozarks. Guests seeking a quiet place to park, rest, and enjoy the Ozarks will feel right at home at Two Roots Ridge.
