This property is one of the only places that privately accesses Lake Leatherwood -- explore! Fun fact: The house was built in the '20s as "The Tumble Inn" where people who were bootlegging liquor would stop over! Learn more about this land:Welcome to Morningstar, a primitive camp nestled in a beautiful deciduous forest on a 16 acre family compound that boarders 1400 acre Lake Leatherwood. You'll set up camp right next to a natural spring and waterfall, with a small cave nearby. There are several spots for sustainable camping in the designated area, room for up to six people, if family or friends will be joining you. But this is a private, one-site camp, so you'll have the place all to yourself.Nearby Lake Leatherwood is home to award winning trail systems created and well maintained for hikers and mountain bikers alike. Enjoy fishing, kayaking and peddle boats year round. Black Bass Lake is also nearby, a beautiful spot for a short hike or a little fishing. An Arkansas fishing license is required for all visitors, and guest passes may be purchased on the Arkansas Game and Fish website.You'll feel glorious seclusion and quiet solitude, surrounded by forest and wildlife... and yet downtown Eureka Springs is just 2 miles from camp. Hike, drive, or hop a Trolley and explore the historic wonders and one-of-a-kind shopping and dining that Eureka Springs has to offer. Need recommendations? Just ask. We'll be happy to point you to our favorites, or ask any local. Eureka people are a friendly bunch! Then come on back to camp for a night of rest and relaxation by the fire and listen to the delicate trickle of water from the spring's moss and ferns.Morningstar welcomes tents and hammocks, but NO space for RVs, Pop-Ups, or Trailers of any kind is available. Only one car may park near the entrance and all gear must be hiked in, an easy one-minute walk. To locate parking: After turning left onto Hyde Hollow, take the first right, pass a tiny hiking trail to the right (not for public use), and park immediately after the trail on the right hand side of the road, allowing plenty of space for cars to pass. Then unload gear and walk the drive straight ahead, past a small cabin, and on to camp. There is a wooden swing as well as a fire pit for your enjoyment. Please respect the beauty and health of the natural spring and do not use soap in the clear pool of water. If you're looking for a bit of adventure, please feel free to explore the cave, but know that you do so at your own risk as we are not responsible for accidents.This is a primitive camp, so no running water, no shower, and no toilet facilities are provided. Please respect our forest and future campers by either providing your own compostable toilet or by digging a proper cat hole and leaving no trace. No trash service, please pack-out all waste and leave no trace.Now, kick back, relax and enjoy all The Natural State has to offer.

The Farm Campground and events

The Farm is backed up to Mark Twain National Forest. Beaver Lake, Table Rock Lake and the White River are all within 5 miles of this location. The White River offers the region’s best Trout Fishing and Beaver Lake is well known for its big Striped & Largemouth Bass. Canoeing is also popular on the White River The blue ribbon Kings River, which is a world class Smallmouth Bass fishery is 12 miles from the venue. The Farm sits about 9 miles outside of historic Victorian town of Eureka Springs Arkansas which offers a wide variety of shopping and nightlife entertainment,  This venue offers 360 degree panoramic views of the heart of the Ozarks. In addition to being a campground, the venue also hosts multi-day music festivals, concerts, food competitions and more.

We do have ice and firewood for sale. It is self serve and located by the barn with a payment box (video surveillance)

Open-air Meditation Sanctuary

This 10-acre wilderness park is the perfect place for a contemplative camp, walking, sitting meditation, picnic lunch or for nature play and education with your children. Even the furry members of your family are welcome.  2 campsites, 2 retreat houses, outdoor shower, composting toilet and a 1 mile walking trail with meditation sites.

The campsites are private.  you will not see or hear other campers.

The OMS is also a beautiful and magical place for wedding ceremonies, team building, school outings and other special events. Please contact us to schedule group events. We also offer guided tours.

The OM Sanctuary is a quiet, inviting and trust worthy place where your Soul can show itself and speak it's truth.  Go gently and respectfully and expect to be moved, refreshed and surprised.

This site currently has a shade cover and camp chair, generously donated by a previous camper. There's still plenty of room for a large tent.

The campsite is raised and drains well during rain.  It has a table and mobile fire pit with water and toilet nearby.

There are 14 meditation sites.  One of them is a raised platform.  Perfect for Yoga!

The composting toilet outhouse is spacious and well lit by windows overlooking the Sanctuary.  It never smells of anything other than cedar!

Fresh Life at Rocky Branch

This land was purchased in the early 70's as a future family home site. It was never developed. It has been used by family and friends for various holidays and just camp outs. Now you can enjoy it as well.

Primitive camping on Beaver Lake  across from Rocky Branch Marina,   Surrounded on three sides  by this gorgeous lake. Light rolling hills with mature trees landscape this private lake front hideaway . There are a few residential executive  homes nearby. This camp is hosted by Beaver Lake Outdoor Center. Kayak, jet ski rental available upon request. Close to Hobbs State Park Conservation Area, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art(from Rockwell to Warhol and everything in between); War Eagle Mill and Caverns, Museum of Native American History, The Walmart Museum, Eureka Springs,   just a short 40min. drive to Bentonville airport (XNA). Please remember if you "pack it in then pack it out", and absolutely no glass.

Sunny Dawn Acres

Sunny Dawn Acres was originally homesteaded by the James Oliver Family and consisted of over 3000 acres and was called Revilo Ranch. They had a pig farm and later raised and trained 5-gaited Tennessee Walking Horses. Later it was used as a boy scout camp. Today five family live in the valleys and hills of the original Revilo Ranch. In 2015 We became the privileged owners the Oliver family Victorian home which was built in 1900 by Charles Pierceand overlooks Clifty Creeks with its cascading falls on either side of the house. We need our over 400 acres of land Sunny Dawn Acres! We host health retreat to manage and reverse diseases such as type two diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular (heart) disease, high cholesterol and triglycerides, obesity, Irritable bowel disease, arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.
