Our property also adjoins 1200 acres of the Mark Twain National Forest, dotted with springs, trails, rivers, lakes, ponds and breathtaking views. We have three small cabins on the property that are spaced out for privacy. There are also potential for tent camp sites.My husband and I love nature, farming, gardening, and sharing time with like-minded individuals. We would love for Hip Campers to come experience our brand of cabin camping, with farm and forest experiences.A little history of the surrounding area: The Mark Twain National Forest was stripped by loggers in the 1800's and was purchased by the government as a preserve. Since then, it has regrown into hardwood forest, dotted with remnants of pine. It feels wild and untouched, despite knowing it's history. And within it, it harbors all manner of waterways, wildlife, plants, and fungi beyond your imagination. We love southern Missouri and hope you come catch a taste of the wildness that is the Forest. Disconnect, unplug, lose your cell signal, and come find yourself in the woods :)

There is a great local outfitters that will pick you up and take you up river to float back to your camp. May rent vessels from them!! Country setting. easy access to Beach and boat ramp, Right outside of small town of Pocahontas, on the beautiful 11 Point River, . Also has a great little downtown area to hang out, have a drink or just get dinner.

Weekend Trip to Robert's Redneck Retreat, LLC
Highly recommend!!! It was such a relaxing time. The views are absolutely beautiful, expesicially around sunset! The cabin was nice and clean! Easy to find! Amazing and down to earth hosts!!! Getting to be surround by nature and farm animals was just so peaceful. I enjoyed not having cell service and truly getting to take a step back and just enjoy life and time with my soulmate! Absolutely recommend and will be returning!

A great secluded little cabin in the woods where our dogs could run around off leash. We stayed in the winter this time and the wood stove heat was very nice. Like taking a step back into time 100 years!

Great stay! From the cabin to the land and surrounding area, this place is beautiful recluse and creates a truly peaceful and enjoyable stay. I guarantee that you could ask for better hosts. I will most definitely be returning and very highly recommend a stay here. It was exactly what I was looking for. Truly awesome experience.
