The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around.
The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold.
We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

We enjoyed our time at Camp Toasty! We were the only ones in the area. This is truly a DIY camp experience. We enjoyed fishing in the river, playing on the playground and hiking around. We plan to return in the future. This was our first Hip Camp experience. We did not receive the bundles of firewood nor could we access the bin at the gate so will likely bring our own next time. Thank you for hosting a wonderful and relaxing experience. On to more adventures!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Stay at Rocky Creek Ranch!
Our stay at Rocky Creek Ranch, hosted by Michelle, was nothing short of amazing. The views of Harper’s Cove on Greer’s Ferry Lake are absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you stop and just soak it all in.
We brought our 25-foot travel trailer and had zero issues getting in or out. The site offered plenty of space, giving us room to spread out and relax. Michelle has thought of everything for campers’ comfort: clean showers with very hot water, towels provided, and even extra touches that make the experience feel special.
One of the highlights was their beautiful man-made lake with crystal-clear water. We enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks, and the nicely built floating dock — complete with a tiki bar-style umbrella and seating area — made for the perfect spot to unwind.
Michelle was an incredibly accommodating host, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience and will definitely be back!

Lovely, well care for spacious property with lake view and a private pond. Easy place for campers who seek privacy to find it here. Host was welcoming upon arrival and appreciated the helpful communication. Just two miles down the road found an old boat ramp that some people continue to use and place to access the lakes shoreline.

Nice sandy beach, creekside , very clear clean water. We walked in the water to fish for an hour. The water is not cold at all. Most of it may be 12 inches deep to at the most waist deep.
The entrance to their property is a water crossing but pretty. Playground set, outhouse, plenty of shade. No Internet access at all our ATT phones didnt have any.
Pretty mountains in the background. Nice owners we met on arrival. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights at Camp Toasty #3 and had a fantastic time! The campground is full of family-friendly fun—ninja hurdles, a playground, zipline, beaches, pet pigs, and great fishing spots. Our kids (3 and 7) had a blast exploring and playing all day.
We hiked to both Little B and Big B waterfalls—both were stunning! Just a heads-up: Big B is a steep, rocky climb and not ideal for small kids. Little B was much more accessible and still beautiful.
Though canoeing wasn’t possible due to high water levels, the thoughtful owner set out boats, paddles, and PFDs on a nearby slough so the kids could try kayaking. It was such a kind gesture.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming—provided directions, clean water, a fan for the heat, and even treats for our dog! They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
The restrooms were clean, and there was so much to explore—we never ran out of things to do. Highly recommend Camp Toasty #3 for a fun, peaceful, and adventure-filled family getaway. We’d love to come back!

Gorgeous property overlooking Greers Ferry Lake. It’s a large open space with lots of trees and you can set up wherever you like. We pulled our teardrop into a space that gave us almost total privacy, which we loved. It was quiet and peaceful. The hot water outdoor showers are amazing. Probably the nicest outdoor showers we’ve ever used. The water pressure and hot water availability was excellent, plus Michelle provided towels for folks to use, which is a really nice touch. We set up our own compostable toilet, but she does have an outhouse on property for campers to use. We would definitely be happy to go back again!

Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp beside the water! The kids liked the rock steps down to the water and had fun playing on the playground. The fire pit encircled by lights was lovely. The outhouse was clean and smelled of fresh cedar. The host did a nice job preparing for us by freshly mowing the grass. They also were very quick to respond and offer assistance when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed our stay!
