Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Our land is home to a plethora of animals that you can visit with or just watch during your stay. There are our cattle (their names are on their ear tags), horses, goats (working on getting collars with names), Pickles the mini donkey, and our chickens (when they go out to free range). We also have a stocked pond that you can bring your fishing gear and fish! There are bass, catfish and bream! The horses names are Vivian and Bonnie and they normally stay in the pasture with our campers. Vivian is the larger of the two white horses and she loves attention. Bonnie is also white, but she is a bit smaller. She is Viv's sister! There is also the opportunity to see several species of wildlife while here. Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Come enjoy the sounds of Ouachita Mountain nature and farm life with us.

We'll try to move our cleaning days around to help you out if possible. The Crystal Camp Campground is a rock hounding paradise and is less than two minutes from the Crystal Vista, Wegner and Avatar Crystal mines. Located on a paved section of Owley Road in Mount Ida Arkansas. This is a large 2 acre property with four cleared sites that offer plenty of room for any size tent(s). Generators are welcome and pets are too. The property is bordered by old growth national forest and an ice cold spring fed stream is located in the national forest behind the property. There is a new bypass very close to the property. Pets are allowed, just please keep them close & clean up after them. We have a charcoal BBQ grill, & chairs on site. There is a trash can on site to use. We also have a private camping toilet with a personal tent. (Please request this item as we keep it put up when not in use.) This area is wooded and has all the outdoor bugs. Although we treat the camp area, bring your repellants for fleas, tics, chiggers, mosquitoes, ect. Just in case. Fern Dell feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's only 3 miles / 7 minute scenic drive to Hot Springs National Park visitor's center, bathhouse row, the convention center, and downtown restaurants, spas, shopping, theaters, galleries and attractions! There is a mile of private trails onsite for easy hiking, mountain biking or e-biking. Camp is across the road from 30+ miles of world-class IMBA designed mountain biking and hiking trails at the Northwoods Trails - voted the Best Trails in Arkansas by riders. Green, blue and black single track, multi-track, flow trails, jump lines and the Lucky 13 expert section. From the Northwoods, connect to the National Park’s Sunset Trail of stunning views (11 miles hiking only) –or- the Pullman Trail to downtown/Park Avenue (.65 mile moderate hiking/biking). Catch a trail head at Cedar Glades Park adjacent to camp with 10 more miles of trails for mountain biking or hiking connecting to the Northwoods, a bike skills park, 18 holes of disc golf, 3-story tree house, kite flying field, amphitheater, picnic pavilion, playground, remote control airfield and car track. 20 minute drive to Mid-America Science Museum, Magic Springs Water Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens, quartz crystal digging sites, and Lakes Hamilton, Catherine, DeGray and Ouachita. Approximately 1 hour drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park. Private parking available right at your site a few steps from the tent. Uber and taxi services are available to pick up and drop off at the camp driveway entrance - 500 yard walk to Fern Dell or leave your car parked next to the driveway. From camp-adjacent Cedar Glades Park trails connecting to the Northwoods trails, you can bike or hike the Pullman Trail into the walkable and bikeable Uptown Park Avenue neighborhood, 1 mile north of downtown. Public transportation is not available at Fern Dell, but is available Monday - Saturday downtown. Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport (HOT) is a 20 minute drive from camp with Southern Airlines daily direct flights to/from Dallas (DFW) and Memphis (MEM) with Enterprise rental car onsite. Little Rock (LIT) airport is a 1 hour drive with all major rental car companies and airlines. Welcome! We want to note on the front hand that if you decide to stay with us you will be staying in a pasture behind a gate. This is especially important if you are tent camping, because your things will be safe while you explore Hot Springs and surrounding areas unlike a State Park or regular campground! Part of our land is cleared for pasture and the rest is undisturbed forest. Two different creeks and hundreds of cedars adorn the land, hence the name "Cedar Creek Farms." Located in beautiful Montgomery County, Arkansas; Montgomery County was formed on December 9, 1842, and named for Gen. Richard Montgomery, a hero of the American Revolution. Sixty-three percent of the county is national forest land. We are a short scenic 12 mile drive from Little Missouri Falls, Bard Springs, and Albert Pike with area hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, and beautiful backroads. We are within 10 miles of the Caddo River and local canoe rental. Glenwood is 20 minutes away with gas stations, restaurants, and flea markets. Wegner Crystal Mine is located in Mt Ida, approx 40 minutes from our park. We are within a hour drive of Hot Springs; Bathhouse Row, Garvin Woodland Gardens, Mountain Tower, Crystal Ridge Distillery, Magic Springs, various tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Mena is located within an hour drive of our park; Blue Zipline, restaurants, shopping. Less than an hour from Crater of Diamonds State Park and Lake DeGray. Hosts Max and Michelle live onsite and are available on request, but otherwise respect the privacy of guests. Fern Dell feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's only 3 miles / 7 minute scenic drive to Hot Springs National Park visitor's center, bathhouse row, the convention center, and downtown restaurants, spas, shopping, theaters, galleries and attractions! There is a mile of private trails onsite for easy hiking, mountain biking or e-biking. Camp is across the road from 30+ miles of world-class IMBA designed mountain biking and hiking trails at the Northwoods Trails - voted the Best Trails in Arkansas by riders. Green, blue and black single track, multi-track, flow trails, jump lines and the Lucky 13 expert section. From the Northwoods, connect to the National Park’s Sunset Trail of stunning views (11 miles hiking only) –or- the Pullman Trail to downtown/Park Avenue (.65 mile moderate hiking/biking). Catch a trail head at Cedar Glades Park adjacent to camp with 10 more miles of trails for mountain biking or hiking connecting to the Northwoods, a bike skills park, 18 holes of disc golf, 3-story tree house, kite flying field, amphitheater, picnic pavilion, playground, remote control airfield and car track. 20 minute drive to Mid-America Science Museum, Magic Springs Water Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens, quartz crystal digging sites, and Lakes Hamilton, Catherine, DeGray and Ouachita. Approximately 1 hour drive to Crater of Diamonds State Park. Private parking available right at your site a few steps from the tent. Uber and taxi services are available to pick up and drop off at the camp driveway entrance - 500 yard walk to Fern Dell or leave your car parked next to the driveway. From camp-adjacent Cedar Glades Park trails connecting to the Northwoods trails, you can bike or hike the Pullman Trail into the walkable and bikeable Uptown Park Avenue neighborhood, 1 mile north of downtown. Public transportation is not available at Fern Dell, but is available Monday - Saturday downtown. Absolutely loved our stay at Fox Nook!!! Charles was such a good host. Checked in on us and made sure to have plenty of firewood for us. The campsite felt very secluded. It was a short walk to the lake and was the most perfect spot! Would definitely recommend! And can’t wait to pass through Arkansas again because we will definitely be coming back to stay!

We had an absolute blast camping out here this past weekend! Three of us came from St. Louis with two dogs, and met up here with our other two friends driving from Fort Worth. We had two cars, three tents, a ton of chairs and had MORE than enough space. The place was beautiful, primal, and Charles was a very helpful and responsive host. Our pups had the best time running around and rolling in the leaves, and us humans had a great time chilling by the fire and enjoying the view of the changing fall leaves and star-filled night sky! We didn’t have the chance to check out the lake, but we are going to try to make this meet-up a yearly thing at the amazing Fox Nook Campsite! I reserved the site for an outdoor date. If yall want an easy night to pull up and camp with all the amenities this is the place! Great spot for sunset views, close to cedar glades park and all its hikes, camp fire with wood on site, kitchen, bathroom, hammock, literally easy camping mode and my date loved it. Brought my own food but and there were cooking utensils, oil, some spices, and easy clean up. The host was easy to contact and they answered all my questions.

The camp site was great with plenty of choices of where to set up. Amanda and Jordan were amazing hosts and I can't recommend this site enough. So if your wanting to camp in the hot springs AR area consider supporting Jordan and Amanda.

A truly delightful place! So many thoughtful details like a porch swing by the river and adutch door on the rustic john so sunrise can be seen from the rustic throne. The privacy and quiet provided by the entire place being our own was grand. I've taken the baths at Hot Springs bathhouses and the outdoor bath at Thunder Mountain way surpassed them. Communication was great. The trails were wonderful. The entire property is well cared for . We heard two kinds of owls, saw hawks, an eagle and kingfishers. Saw three different kinds of lizards. I caught a large mouth bass and saw lots of fish hanging out in the clear waters.

My husband and I stayed here 5 nights with our 3 dogs. It was well kept, peaceful, and just a stones throw from the lake! Charles, the host, is delightful as well. We will absolutely visit again. 10/10 would recommend!

Easy to search online, excellent price, great scenery, fantastic host. When rain threatened my stay my host allowed me to use a dry bed in the bunkhouse that was not occupied. Did a little fishing some metal detecting and filmed a river otter playing in river. Overall I was only guest and needed to peace and quiet to decompress after a very stressful few months.

Absolutely loved our stay! We hope to be back! Bath house was a great addition to the river experience. Water was hot and had good water pressure. My dog loved playing in the river and exploring the property. They had plenty of trails to explore and enjoy the peaceful scenery.

I had this place saved and kept eyeing it and finally pulled the trigger! I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night! I had been exploring and car camping in Arkansas with my pup and definitely was feeling a shower and so glad I ended up here. It was last minute so I really appreciate the host’s quick response and accommodation. I drive a FWD Honda HR-V so not too low to the ground. I didn’t have any trouble except had to back down hill and speed up to get up the last bit getting into site but I made it and worth it! I got in just in time to setup and go jump in the river and grill a steak and asparagus on their propane grill and then shower in the outdoor shower house. Hot and cold water and great water pressure, it was wonderful and same with sink🙌🏼WiFi worked close to cabin, as mentioned. I had no issue with it while in tent which I set up on the deck (was also able to back my car in close to deck to unload). The outhouse and flushable toilet was cherry on top heading out in the morning. Had so many people asking about it from my snaps. So I will definitely be back and possibly even family vacation in the cabin!

This was an amazing experience all the way around! We were able to grab a tent site right on the river, which was incredible. The location is great for river access with gravel bars that are perfect for a day lounging in the river! We loved the convince of the camp store and the honor system, it was so nice to be able to grab ice or firewood in the evening. And our dog had the best time! We can't recommend this place highly enough, and we will definitely be back!
