Classy Glamping is your go to glamping source for intimate exploration of the beautiful state of Arizona! We offer several different choices for venues throughout the season, from exciting, action-packed spots such as Jackpot Ranch & Nashwa Farms in Camp Verde, to remote locals like Concho, where you can really escape the constructs of society! From May 2021 until the end of July 2021, we will be set up at Jackpot Ranch, and then from August 2021 until the end of November, we will be renting tents at the beautiful Nashwa Farms. The Gold Coin Mine

This place was first surveyed in the 1930's to be a gold mine. The original gold mine claim was called "The Gold Coin Mine." The land is littered with semi precious stones, we pick up pieces of turquoise almost every morning! We're also an organic garden, there are no chemicals used on the garden or landscape -- 100% organic, no chemical exposure to be worried about here (we don't even keep it in the shop!) Learn more about this land:Literally a stone's throw from Prescott Natl Forest and a half hour drive to Whiskey Row and the Yavapai County Courthouse and Square.  Enjoy the mild climate, hiking trails, watering holes and local flavor. Our property is completely fenced with a secure gate and low intrusion landscape lighting for easier walking. You can rest assured that the entire property is under organic stewardship and the fruit on the trees •if ripe• is delicious.

Relax and Camp

Our story is short. We bought this land in 2012  and it was barren. We have created a nice sanctuary with trees, a pond, and relaxing hangout areas. We are artists and biologists. Our children are homeschooled. We have fresh eggs to share from our lovely ducks. Yes, Ducks have really nutritious eggs and they taste just like chicken eggs. We also have three dogs that are friendly.  We hope you'll camp here.

The Dharma Farmily

These 7 acres are home to the DharmaFarmily. Established as a farm homestead on 1-1-11 with the intention towards an organic farm, this space has gone through many stages of evolution. It started with two women in love and inspired to live closer to nature, feed themselves and others, and know where their food comes from. The realization quickly came that many more hands would be needed to transform the space into a productive farm with infrastructure to support that. Many hands did come and eventually the space became a temporary home to dozens of wwoofers and many others as well. Then as the relationships of the people here shifted in new and wonderful ways we began to hold space as a birthing sanctuary. Here there is a profoundly palpable healing energy and it is a transformational space of spiritual growth. What we've found, and the reason the name "Dharma Farmily" came to us, is that truly we humans are the ones being farmed, for our Dharma. Many have come and experienced incredible catalyzation towards their soul's deepest desire to live in that space of offering their greatest gifts to the world and experiencing the timeless unconditional happiness that goes along with that. Now as a family with little ones we are focused on planting our space of love, with permaculture guiding us in creating a biodynamic food forest that will offer an amazing exchange with this beautiful land, providing us with many kinds of nourishment for body and soul as we in turn nurture this part of Earth's body. Within a few miles is the majestic Verde River headwaters area with a lovely creek, Sullivan Canyon, little thumb butte and countless wonderful hikes all along the many different landscapes of the creek. There are many local farms here in Paulden and just down the road in Chino Valley. Within 25 miles is Prescott which has dozens of amazing hiking opportunities, creeks, and local attractions. We are also conveniently located around an hour from the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Flagstaff, Montezuma’s Well, Fossil Creek, Cottonwood, Camp Verde and many Native ruins.

House on the Edge of Time

This place is probably not for you...   If you are looking for a true hotel experience - keep looking, if the thought of climbing through small doorways inside the home sounds like a challenge - or if you are opposed to living close to nature look elsewhere.   If life on the edge of the mountain with an uneven landscape gives you vertigo stay home.   However if you are looking for a truly unique experience and a chance to stay in a home designed by a brilliant architect ( Paul Nonnast) sounds like a dream come true  - then this is your place and it is for You that I have gone through the effort to make this available to host new friends who share my sense of wanderlust.  

Sun & Moon Geo Dome Retreat

It seems like nearly everyone who comes here says this is a peaceful place!  It's like being out in the country whilst still being close enough to so many things, halfway between Sedona and Prescott, in a neighborhood with dirt roads and farm animals in which horses have the right away. The mountains are hypnotic. The air is clean. The stars are breathtaking. You can see the Milky Way on a clear night. The sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous and we see a lot of double rainbows here. 

The dome is fully furnished for 4 people. Inside there's a queen bed, futon, clean linens, table w/chairs, portable a/c, electric heater; propane heater, lamps, microwave (for indoor cooking), ice maker, Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, USB & outlets for small devices (light electrical usage only), and WIFI is available. Plus a yoga mat, books, & a binder with food and sightseeing recommendations for the area.

Outside there's a picnic table, propane grill with side burner, propane firepit with comfortable seating surrounding. The clear dome windows are showing signs of aging, so the best star and sunset/sunrise viewing is outside. The outhouse building is equipped with a camping toilet, pump sink, and a camping shower (now heated!). 

One towel per guest, grill utensils, cups, and plate ware provided. Bring disposables if you do not want to wash your own dishes. Most of the time guests are able to park next to the dome but sometimes, weather depending, it will be necessary to park and walk in about a hundred feet away from the dome. 

Also on the property you'll find a walking path carved out through the trees behind the dome with a medicine wheel and labyrinth. The property is located in a rural neighborhood so there are other houses around, but at a far distance, with still plenty of privacy. 

There are lots of animals like cardinals, hawks, owls, blue jays, roadrunners, hummingbirds, jackrabbits, cottontails, coyotes, and mule deer.  Farm animals like donkeys make sounds in the distance which is pretty comical at times. There are occasional sightings of beer, wolves, and mountain lions. 

The location is central to so many incredible places to explore. Within an hour each direction, there is distinctly different natural terrain to discover. Our local Mortimer Farm is 7 miles away and has a bakery (breakfast/sandwiches/treats), seasonal activities including pick your own food, farm dancing, and monthly farm to table dinners. We also have a local winery, golf course, café, pizzeria, subway and BBQ restaurant.
