We been on this property for 100s of years and still going strong and it’s the land of the infamous of the “Upper Antelope Canyon” which is literally our backyard. Beach camping near Page with fishing guide

Overview

The city of Page sits on the very edge of Arizona's northern border. It's a particularly popular staging point for travelers heading to Grand Canyon National Park. Head about two hours south on US-89 to reach the gorge. Page is also on the southern edge of Utah's Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. This enormous 1.25-million acre area is excellent for those who enjoy time spent on the water. Camp right on the shore of Lake Powell for easy access to fishing and swimming. Bass, bluegill, walleye and catfish make their home in Lake Powell. Hit the convenient Wahweap RV & Campground if you're coming to Lake Powell via RV. It's just a quarter-mile from the shore and features 139 full hook-up sites. There are also 36 spots for tent-only camping. All sites come with picnic tables and fire rings for cookout fun. Note that summers can get brutally hot in this area. Expect average highs in the low to mid 90s from June to August. The arid Arizona climate means that winter is also quite cold. Highs drop to the low 40s during the coldest months, with freezing temperatures occurring regularly. Aim for April-May or September-October for the most agreeable weather.
