This historic old lodge " The Crown Point Lodge", was once a popular stop that offered meals, lodging, movie rentals and all the essentials but also was a moose rescue. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle and nestled in the trees just outside of town, Busafonte and The Trailer welcome you to get lost in nature. On nearly two acres of land, you'll have your own private area to enjoy, including a large fire pit, hammock trees, and perhaps a visit from our neighborhood turkeys and chickens.
Regular wildlife visitors to our woodland include moose, black and brown bears, eagles, ravens, and Steller’s jays.
Busafonte is a "dry" converted mid-size bus equipped with electricity, a water tank, and a private outhouse. A small, fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom with its own woodstove provide the perfect home base for relaxing before and after your big adventures.
The Trailer is a modern fifth-wheel camper that includes electricity, water, and an indoor restroom. We’ve provided all the necessities for you, including a stocked kitchen, bathroom essentials, and bedding for the queen bed (bedding for the sofa is also available upon request). The dinette table converts into a short bed—please remember to bring a sleeping bag for this setup!
Our property is just a short distance from multiple hiking trails and outdoor outfitters (fishing, kayaking, and sightseeing). We are happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions to help you make the most of your visit.

We enjoyed camping out at Annie’s land. The tent was clean and spacious. We loved having a little camp fire in the evening. It was easy to find, and a quiet spot.

Our stay at Moose Lodge Cabins was even better than we expected. The cabin was extremely comfortable, well-equipped with everything we needed, and even a few thoughtful extras we didn’t realize we’d want. The location is convenient to Seward yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting. We highly recommend Moose Lodge Cabins and would gladly stay here again.

Very clean, excellent layout and comfortable beds! Would stay here again. It was my parent’s first time staying in a yurt, or using a communal kitchen, and it was a great experience for them. Would recommend.

It was a nice place. Very quiet and relaxing. The view from the deck was perfect. The only thing I’d recommend is maybe adding a sign or something similar at the end of the driveway so it stands out a bit. It took me a few minutes to find it.

2 nights at BRIDGE CABIN at Bear Creek Lodge
We loved the cozy cabin, the wood fired cook stove, the beautiful river right next to it, and all of the very helpful kind staff, would stay there again and again if we could! Sauna was an especially nice feature after rafting six mile river. No running water or working stove other than wood fired one, be ready to go back in time a bit, but everything you need is just over the bridge at the main cafe building

I will be forever dreaming about our next stay at the Nauru Otter Yurt Village. My husband multiple times during our stay kept saying I can’t wait until we can come back and stay here longer. They thought of literally everything. Comfortable, clean, charming, fun, we cannot say enough great things about this fairytale like yurt village.

We had a great time! It was a much needed relaxed night. The hosts were communicating well and allowed us to check in early even though we ended up not needing to, because we kept stopping for photos on our trip. This place had great hot water and amenities! Would def stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Darell B.’s Magical Mountain
We were absolutely thrilled with Darell’s cabin. It was so cute and cozy with everything needed to make for a comfortable stay. It has a great view and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to use their personal grill when we arrived because the city had a burn ban put into effect the day we arrived and we couldn’t cook over the fire pit. They also allow dogs and even put a towel to dry our lab off with before we brought her inside. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The Lumberjack Shack was a great stay! Clean, surprisingly roomy, and very adorably Alaskan. Nauti Otter staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The shared spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, living room) were also spotless. Highly recommend for a stay in Steward!
