Camping On The Farm! This is a living quarters horse trailer that we use to travel with our horses. It is a small space! Set on a working farm 5 miles down a red dirt road, the camper offers beautiful views of the Farm and wonderful interaction with nature and the farm animals. There is a small 3 gallon water heater which will provide about 5 minutes of hot water, meaning you have 5 minutes to shower. We provide a coffee maker (French press), ground coffee, fresh eggs from our chickens, and a loaf of fresh bread (for your consumption or to feed the animals). We do not provide a cooked breakfast. There is no TV or radio. The Camper is nestled 17 miles from Town, so you may want to shop on your way here. The Eastern Shore Center is located at Exit 38, where you can find great shopping, many restaurants, and a Publix grocery store. We try to keep various essential items in the pantry and there is a stocked kitchen (pots, pans, plates, glasses, flatware). TV, landline telephone, and internet are not available. You should have good cell phone service, Verizon and AT&T 4G , outside. Check-in is any time after 3pm and Check-out is 10am. Guest access Please do not open any gates or cross any fences. The animals are people-friendly and will come up to the fences to be fed. Treats are provided. Other things to note There is no TV or radio available.

Keep in mind the full size bed is fft long so be mindful if you are tall. There are common area toilets and sinks about 100ft from the camp site and set up with an outdoor shower used by the juice box camper only for complete privacy. There is a functional sink, mini fridge, kettle, toaster oven, etc. inside the camper for easy quick meals. We kindly ask all other items be cooked outside. This unique stay is ideal for adventurous people who like quiet, private locations but are still close to modern convenience like our delicious restaurants in downtown Fairhope and beautiful white sandy beach in Gulf Shores. I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at A&W's Christmas Tree Farm. The property is gorgeous, and there is so much to explore. We were met at the cabin by the delightful Austin and Wanda (hosts), who gave us a personal ~hourish tour of the property and the cabin. They clearly have put much thought into hosting and want you to feel as comfortable and welcomed as possible. My two large dogs loved sniffing around and stretching their legs after a long day in the car. We enjoyed our early morning walk through the fields of Christmas Trees with tranquil nature sounds all around us. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind stay, this is it. I will forever continue to book this Hipcamp if I'm in the area :)

We had a great time! I love being outside and setting up a hammock around the fire and be away from everything! My girlfriend needs a little more- so this was PERFECT! Beautiful set up with many extras to enjoy. Felt like we were in a hotel room! But still got to set up my hammock, cook over the fire, and feel like I was out and away from everything! They have incredible outdoor kitchen ready for if you want more than the fire. The hosts were great communicating and making sure we were set up and enjoying everything! Very friendly and welcoming! Felt comfortable the entire time. Looking to book again soon and get goat yoga scheduled:)

Our stay here was magical- Bon Secour is a pocket of untouched nature inside the booming growth of the coast, yet accessible to beaches and parks. Our dome stay gave us connection to the outdoors but some comforts of glamping. The property is full of Oaks and surrounded by woods. They have created a fun, oasis with unique stays! Highly recommend.

This area includes a bar with rainwater catchment for washing hands/dishes, refrigerator, freezer, electric tea kettle, microwave, solar oven, complimentary coffee/tea station, 2 burner biogas stovetop with cooking equipment&utensils, games, aerial yoga silks, climbing wall, slackline, Iyengar yoga rope wall, trash/recycling, filtered alkaline drinking water and more! Feel free to use our laundry facilities, communal picnic basket, and complimentary condiments, seasonings, sauces, etc found in the door of the fridge. Attached to the lounge is our air conditioned ecobathroom with *hot* shower, bio toilet, and complimentary toiletries if you forget anything. A few notes on the property: Most people have never used an EcoToilet and don’t realize it takes some work. If you have children, you will very likely have to do this part for them. We keep the lounge area as clean as possible but at the end of the day it is an outdoor kitchen! Kitchenwares will have a layer of dust even if cleaned the day prior, so please give everything a rinse before you using! You may read about mosquitoes in some of our past reviews, but I am happy to share that we now have a monthly mosquito service in place that has mitigated that issue :) Learn more about this land: Our intention for this artist community is to bring like-minded people together and make the world a more beautiful place. It serves as our primary residence and also residence for seasonal workers&traveling artists when they come here. Every year we have the opportunity to employ about a dozen people to work with us during the tourist season, from March-October. This is country life. The airstream hideaway sits on 6 acres surrounded by woods, farmland, birds, deer, rabbits, foxes, and more. Instead of eliminating nature, we embrace awareness and knowledge for coexisting with insects, wildlife, critters, plants, etc. For visitors who love walking: the three roads of this neighborhood are dead ends and have hills. Perimeters of agricultural fields can also be walked, if desired. Other things to note: Our home is on site and located toward the front of the property. The outdoor space includes patio mat, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, chairs, fire pit, and RV awning. It is a cool spot to relax. The front porch becomes an outdoor dining area in moments. I try to keep wood for the fire pit nearby for guests to use. At night, the fresh air and crackling fire pit bring back memories of youthful whispered stories.
