We are a 400 plus acre working family ranch raising Registered Texas Longhorns. We offer homegrown steaks and hamburger for purchase during your stay. In season we offer homegrown fresh vegetables you can purchase to go with your steaks- your welcome to even pick your own. If fresh vegetables are not in season we do have a selection of salsas, jellies, and pickles made on the ranch. There are three ponds for fishing, lots of wildlife including nesting baldeagles. Bring sturdy enclosed shoes for hiking. Bring your canine friend, they will have a vacation of a lifetime. Pawhuska is only 13 miles away, if you want to let someone else cook your dinner. At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station. The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Whether you're a bird watcher, artist seeking inspiration, or simply craving tranquility, this is the perfect retreat. Listen to the gentle rustle of the wind through the trees and embrace the serenity of the surroundings. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as raccoons, opossums, armadillos, foxes, deer, owls, coyotes and maybe even a bear. The cabin has a queen size bed with linen and blankets provided, drinking water, and a small grill. Firewood is available on the honor system. There is room to park behind the cabin. No electricity but a 1500 watt solar generator will charge your devices, run the fan, and the coffee pot. There is a "loo" inside the cabin behind a partition along with a camping shower bag and towels if needed. Guests are welcome to explore the hiking trail, which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the circle. A map of the trail is provided inside the cabin for your convenience. Please note that the woods have ticks and chiggers, so remember to bring your Deep Woods Off for added protection. Unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature at our secluded camping spot.
