Turkey Hollow is nestled in the rolling hills of Holmes County Ohio. We are right on the edge of the largest Amish settlement in the nation. The primitive campground is in the corner of a small 40 acre farm owned by Matt Polcyn. He started the campground 13 years ago because of his love for nature and real camping. He enjoys traveling in many places in the States and the Caribbean islands and loves finding places off of the beaten path and not commercialized. Because of his interest and love for primitive camping he decided to open the campground in order to provide the same opportunity as a getaway primitive camping location that he tries to find when he travels.
We now just added a shower in the trees, warm water rinse off area. (this is available between Memorial Day and until it get too cold again in the fall)

Memory Park is a primitive, beautifully maintained family-owned private campground located near beautiful Atwood Lake State Park. First developed in 1968, Memory Park offers peace, quiet, and tranquility for you and your family for that perfect weekday or weekend getaway .
There are plenty of primitive sites to choose from, including Murphy Meadow, Outback Bend, Honeymoon Point, and Shady Rest, just to name a few. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit.

This small farm is 7 acres of the original 25 my great grandmother purchased for her family in 1934. Guests can enjoy the cabin as well as the barn and surrounding property with animals and greenspace.
The Camp Cabin:
Camp in comfort in our "little cabin in the woods." Accommodates up to 6 guests, with a queen-sized bed, a futon and two low single beds in the loft, accessible only by ladder. Kids 6 and older may sleep in the loft-- just like Laura and Mary-- and they can read a chapter of one of Laura Ingalls' "Little House" books before bed!
The cabin contains a small refrigerator, microwave and gas fireplace (no, the pioneers didn’t have that!). Fresh eggs and other snacks are provided for breakfast. The restroom and shower are located in the walkout basement of the farmhouse, a 40 yard walk from the Cabin. The restroom has a private entrance and is used only by guests during their stay.
The Farm Property:
Pet and interact with goats and other farm animals. The goats and chickens love it when guests bring them tortilla chips, crackers or vegetable scraps. Enjoy fun activities on the farm and around the property.
Guests are welcome to use any of the common areas for fires or grilling. Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The Barn:
The barn has a recreation area with basketball, foosball, air hockey, ping pong and swings. The climbing wall is off limits to guests. This facility is open May through October.
The barn is available for parties for an additional fee, depending on the size of the group. We have seating for up to 60 guests. Please note that the barn is not climate controlled (no air conditioning in summer, but the doors open and we have fans). The barn is closed November through April.

Welcome to Our family farm of 170 acre ! We are two sisters with our husbands and children want to share with you our peaceful farm. Surrounded by Hills, Creeks, Woods, and Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets! We are settled in the Hills of White Eyes Township. There is lots of history of Native Americans, and the first settlers in this area ( there is a great outdoor play based on a true story called Trumpet in the Land about 30 min from our location) On our farm you may still be able to find arrow heads in the creek bottoms! There is lots of wildlife that may wander through your camp site. The air is full of fresh Country smells. Some tame animals that you will see are Lowline cows ( miniature cows), Chickens, Pigs, Miniature Donkeys, Dogs, Cats.
North of us 20 minutes you will find Sugarcreek ( the little Switzerland ) as well as south east of us Coshocton with canoeing and biking trails as well as Roscoe Village.

Growing up and building on the back of our Family Farm is the best goal I ever set for myself! My Off-Grid 20 acres has raised my 2 kids and all the animals we could rescue! We run a Horse Boarding Facility along with Freezer Meat of all sorts. It's a small Hobby Farm but we love it all the same! Family environment that's down to earth!

Located on the historic Ohio-Erie Canal between the village of Bolivar Ballparks and the McDonnell trailheads on the towpath trail ten miles south of Canton, Ohio, and 1.5 miles west of I-77 exit 93 on Scenic Byway Rt 212 in beautiful Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
The Peace Park is designed for bikers, hikers, dog walkers, and anyone traveling through to book a campsite, even if no one is available to meet and greet. Campers, once booked, may go to an available campsite and set up camp.
Dog-friendly, handicapped-accessible Porta-Jon with hand sanitizer, shared electricity for charging phones, pristine aquifer water, picnic tables, fire pits, fire-side benches, birds, butterflies, lightning bugs, wild turkeys, deer, and other wildlife are often seen.

Located roughly 20 miles from Beaver Creek State Park, DLR Mustang Ranch is a 17-acre peaceful sanctuary for many wild and previously wild mustangs. The Ranch offers veteran and first responder mustang programs year-round. Please let us know if you are a veteran or first responder for a special rate.
Accommodations include a small one-room cabin nestled on a little pond a stone's throw from the main house and veteran program area. The cabin has electricity, a microwave, small refrigerator, tv, futon, heating and cooling; however, it does not have plumbing. Nearby is an outhouse with electricity and a water pump fed from well water. There is a firepit for cooking and picnic tables available. There is also a flat space for tent camping right beside the cabin area. The outhouse and firepit are shared between the cabin and tent campers. If you prefer a more secluded experience, please book both sites. There is space for an RV in the driveway next to the woods with electric hookup and access to the outhouse, water pump, and firepit.
While this is a working ranch with farm animals, our aim is to create a peaceful relaxing environment in order to unwind and enjoy the creation around us. Going in the pastures with horses while unaccompanied by the owners is prohibited; however, it can be arranged for you to meet and interact with the mustangs if interested. There are other farm animals including a sheep, a goat, pigs, donkeys, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, ducks and barn cats on the premises. If you want a quaint country escape complete with farm sounds, this is the spot for you!

Staying for a while, we are half way between Seneca lake and Salt Fork state park. In a prime hunting area, set up your camper and stay for the week. Escape to a peaceful, off-grid primitive tent campsite tucked along a wooded ridge at Eagles and Embers near Dresden, Ohio. Surrounded by mature trees and overlooking the river below, this site offers a quiet place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the outdoors. The campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table for relaxing, cooking, and spending evenings beneath the trees.
Eagles and Embers is a new campground that is still under construction and actively being improved. Guests may see ongoing projects, building materials, equipment, or unfinished areas. New features and improvements are added regularly, but only amenities listed as currently available should be expected during your stay.
Guests may use the main fire pit area in front of the cabin. Firewood is available for purchase at an additional charge. All fires must remain inside designated fire rings and are allowed only when no state or local fire restrictions are in effect.
The designated common area within the cabin structure may be used for playing games, preparing food, sharing meals, or getting out of the weather. The cabin is currently a shared common area only and is not included as overnight lodging. Beds and overnight cabin accommodations are planned for the future but are not yet available.
An outhouse and rustic outdoor shower are available. The shower currently uses unheated water, although hot water is planned to be added soon. This is a genuine primitive, off-grid camping experience without conventional campground hookups.
The property includes approximately three wooded acres and about 170 feet of river frontage. Guests can explore the property, walk through the woods, enjoy the trails, relax near the river, and experience the surrounding natural setting. Eagles and Embers is surrounded by approximately 1,700 acres of Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) land, providing additional opportunities for hiking and exploring wherever public access is permitted. Guests must follow all posted signs, property boundaries, and ODNR regulations.
Families may enjoy the playground area, trampoline, and slackline when available. Children must be directly supervised by an adult while using recreational equipment and whenever they are near the river, steep slopes, wooded trails, fire areas, or ongoing construction.
A capable four-wheel-drive (4x4) vehicle with adequate ground clearance is required to reach the property. Access is by way of a rugged and uneven 1.6-mile private road that may become muddy or more difficult after rain. Two-wheel-drive and low-clearance vehicles should not attempt the road. Please do not book unless your vehicle can safely handle rough terrain.
Eagles and Embers is a peaceful, family-friendly campground—not a party destination. Alcohol, parties, loud music, and disruptive behavior are not permitted anywhere on the property. Guests should expect uneven ground, steep areas, wildlife, insects, limited lighting after dark, and the sights and sounds of an actively developing campground. Sturdy footwear and flashlights are strongly recommended.
Future plans for Eagles and Embers include a Bible story trail through the woods, hot water for the shower, overnight accommodations inside the cabin, additional trails and gathering areas, optional home-cooked meals for an additional charge, and a carefully planned, host-supervised shooting area. These future features are not currently available and will be offered only after they are completed and any necessary safety, insurance, and operating requirements have been addressed.
The host lives on the property and is continuing to build Eagles and Embers into a quiet place where individuals and families can rest, reconnect, and enjoy God’s creation.

15 acre BEAUTIFUL park with a 2 acre man made artesian spring water lake. We have the only high dive left in Ohio with 3 diving boards and slides. Bonfire pits horseshoe pits 3 outdoor pavilions, kids playground. The park was made in 1952 and it’s been creating memories threw multiple generations. A MUST SEE. This year we also rent out our party buss to camp in and have two tiny houses available
