We are between Sequoia National Park (about an hour) and the Giant Sequoia National Monument (16 miles to groves up Hwy 190 and no entrance fee). There are 33 giant sequoia groves in our Southern Region of the Giant Sequoia National Monument, some easily driven to, and some remote. We have space for three motor homes or RVs. There are no pull throughs so if you are towing a car you may disconnect it and park the car in our parking lot. You must be self contained with water and power. Generators are OK. There is a restroom but there is no shower. We have a hanging fire pit in the backyard behind our house which you may use. Upon request we will open it for you. Wi-fi is available at our residence on the front porch or the backyard .We are 420 friendly but request that cigarette smoking be contained to open areas away from those of us who cannot tolerate cigarette smoke. No Pets please.Our backyard is unique as it was an old stone quarry at one time and now has an outdoor stage for occasional music events which you are invited to attend as well as to explore the rocks. We are at an elevation of 4,500 ft and rarely have snow in the winter. We can provide a long list of climbs, hiking trails, and other adventure sports and scenic exploration. In Bishop the Paiute Casino is 6 miles to the south. Laws Historic Railroad and Mining Museum is 14 miles away. It is open to the public with 11 acres of interesting displays of the old western railroad buildings and artifacts including the huge 20 Mule Team Borax wagons. It is a great place to picnic. We are close to western Nevada’s historic mining towns like Goldfield, Tonopah and Gold Point. Death Valley is 2 ½ hours away. This space is at the top of the property. It has a nice level area to park up to a 28' trailer or camper. Water and 30 amp power at site. EV charging is not allowed. Large multi level paver patio and campground style grill. There is a level area for Cornhole or Bocce ball. Fire pit and wood available when fire danger is not imminent. 23' Airstream may be available for rent as well at an additional cost. Airstream is 2 people max. Pets are welcome but unfortunately we cannot allow pets in the airstream. There is also a large fenced dog run for your pet to play and hang out. No on site dump or restrooms. Any human wast must be contained and hauled out by campers.

The is a WiFi network available but coverage is weak. Deer and turkey sightings occur frequently, and hiking trails are located on this 10-acre wooded property. Two seasonal creeks also located on the property which are typically flowing until early June. There is also an Airbnb cabin located on this wooded property about 100 yards uphill from the camp. The site is centrally located about between Oakhurst and Bass Lake about 10 to 15 minutes away from either location. The south entrance of Yosemite National Park is about 25 minutes away.

This place must be a hidden gem. Very surprised not to see any reviews on it yet! We stayed here in May and had an amazing time. Some guy took our reserved campsite claiming it was a mixup with the camp host, but the site we ended up in was way better, so the joke's on him! We had site 33, and it's surrounded on all sides by trees so you can't see your neighbor at all. It's also right between two (super clean) bathrooms. The waterfront sites look great for groups since they aren't clearly separated. 122 is another good site for a single family that is shaded and close to the water. The husband caught a couple of trout in Rock Creek. It got pretty cold at night, even in May, but the location and campground made it worth it.
