The spot was quiet and located in a beautiful area, and Nathan was a wonderfully friendly and accommodating host. I'd 100% book here again if passing through.

Nathan was a great host! The four sites are staggered on a hillside, and the parking setup gives each spot some privacy from the others. Our F250 fit with no issues, and the site itself was nice and level. If you have time, walk down to Halfway Station, it’s a cute and tasty spot. The porta potty was clean and well maintained too. Thanks for having us!

Nathan was a gem. We had a bit of an unexpected snafu trying to get my camper up the hill from the road and into the property. He swooped in and saved the day, and was exceedingly kind about the whole thing. Sites are small but clean, and it was nice and quiet at night. Would absolutely stay again, next time just car camping. 😂

As described. Bathroom and shower were clean. The slant was a bit annoying but doable. There was an annoying bird that wouldn’t shut up call night but that’s camping

This one was not a “destination “ for us but excellent value for an overnight stop on a long journey. Also an option for those that want to visit nearby attractions such as Morro Bay etc The host was very nice and met us at the gate and helped us get situated. It was a quiet night.
For the basic camping needs it is a nice spot, in a great location. The space is clean, organized, and Nathan is a great host.....thank you

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed meeting them and staying at the site. Fresh drinking water and clean porta potty were especially appreciated. I could hear lots of birds, including owls.
The camping area is in a great location, about 15 mins from Morro Bay. The campsites are very flat and close together, great for group camping. Porta Potty was clean and potable water is easily accessible.

Nothing special. It was a simple, dry camground. There were 3 spots where cars could be parked for camping and that was it. I just slept and left in the earlier part of the morning. There was nothing special. I liked the restaurant called Halfway Station which is in 5 minute walking (not driving) distance. The food was great there.

Nathan's land was clean and level. He has some turf rugs that is nice to step out into. Very quiet, we were the only campers with our dog. The porta was clean and had toilet paper. We didn't use the shower, but there is potable water. We could see the stars, hear the birds, owls, and coyotes in the morning. It's a quick drive to Morro bay where we could paddle board/kayak. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, but it is very close to the site. Also when coming in, you actually start at campsite 4 and incline up to 1.

Nice little getaway. Level spots to park/camp. Port-a-John and potable water are available. Shower is COLD water only. No shower curtain bring swimsuit or your own curtain.
This is somewhat specific to my circumstances (no other campers), but great stargazing on the turf patches of the other lots. Nathan was helpful, facilities were clean and much appreciated - and the nearby restaurant a welcome bonus!
We had a wonderful stay here! The host Nathan was friendly and very helpful. We were comfortable during our 2 night stay and were thankful for the clean toilet! You will hear lots of sounds of nature! We loved the close proximity to Morro Bay as well.
This was a lovely spot! It was easy to locate and Nathan was very friendly. This is set up nicely with a level lot and turf next to each spot. There was a clean porta- potty, outdoor shower, and water. We enjoyed the birds and wildlife in the area. We felt secluded and safe. We didn’t hear any road noise at all. We would definitely book again when in the area!

My partner and I loved this spot! Nathan and his partner were super welcoming and helped us get situated with ease. The campsite was clean and we could see the stars at night which I loved. Also the restaurant down the road is awesome!! And the location Morro Bay was great.
Great spot close to the coast but hidden amongst the trees and nice and quiet. Nathan and his partner were super helpful with lots of communication, directions and even came out to the main road to show us around. Our campsite was flat and even had Astro turf laid to give us a comfortable space. We had a toilet, shower and drinking water. Couldn’t ask for more!
This was an amazing spot! The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, we arrived super late at 12:40 AM, and they stayed up to make sure we found the site without any trouble. The porta potty was honestly the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and the location was perfect, just a short drive to Morro Bay. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved the set up for us on Highland Ranch! Nathan and Vicky prepared a turf patch for us upon arrival and the nearby bathroom was super clean. The restaurant down the road was such a gem and the proximity to Morro Bay was perfect for us. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Highlands Ranch camp! It was the perfect spot for a quick overnight trip for us to stay. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Nathan and Vicky were great hosts and made us feel welcome for our short stay there! We would love to come back again :)
We were greeted warmly by Nathan and showed where to park. This was much appreciated as we were earlier than anticipated and had no internet to let him know. We were looking for a quiet safe place to park and rest and this satisfied. There were no views as we were in a hollow surrounded by oaks but the birdwatching the next morning was great.
