The Trouvaille Gardens was the perfect juxtaposition to the busy Door County towns. It was wonderful to have an escape and rest in peace and quiet after a full day of hiking and shopping in various towns. The land is quiet, beautiful, and serene. The hosts were respectful and communicated clearly.

Great Hipcamp on every level: hostess, location, setting, amenities. This is the kind of tent camping experience that Hipcamp is all about, and we wholeheartedly endorse Lisa and her gardens (and Door County).

Lisa has created such a beautiful space, a pretty campfire surrounded by a beautiful garden. Tubs for a plunge and a soak. Flat garden furniture to layout on and stargaze. I couldn't recommend this enough! Blown away! 🤩

I loved tent camping under the stars in the Meadow on Lisa's site as she's really helpful and communicative! The views are beautiful and directions are clear on how to get to the campsite. This is a perfect site to camp if you are looking to visit nearby state parks including Peninsula and Newport along with getting great views of the Milky Way, Stars, and possibly the Northern lights! Thanks to Lisa for the great first experience and I'd love to stay there again in the near future!

My friends and I first visited Lisa’s site back in 2020 and were so excited to make the trip back! Lisa is very welcoming and communicative. Unfortunately we got quite a bit of rain on the second night but luckily we were able to take shelter under the barn. Access to the bathroom is a huge plus. We can’t wait to return!

This was the most lovely campsite. Lisa was such a welcoming and generous host, and her land was beautiful. If you're looking for a great camping site in Door county, you can't do better than here.

Beautiful setting to camp in. The meadow, gardens and flowers were gorgeous and Lisa was a wonderful host. She met me the afternoon I checked in a gave me a tour, not only explaining the various amenities of the property, but introducing me to all of the “residents “ of the farm. Only 10 minutes away from Sturgeon Bay and easy to access points NE in Door County.

We had a fantastic time here! Lisa was so wonderful and her grounds are beautiful! We were able to camp under the stars a beautiful fire pit in the gardens w/grapevine trellis above us. We were able to have fresh guinea fowl eggs from the property daily which was incredible. There was firewood provided as well on a donation basis. And Kevin the peacock was beautiful to look at as he roamed the grounds. We were able to use the house toilet when needed. It was a short drive to so many wonderful things that Door County has to offer. We would definitely go back (and hopefully will)!

This was a fantastic Hipcamp. It's on a working farm with plenty of space and privacy. There are animals (including some incredibly cute dogs), well-maintained grass and areas to set up camp, and a really charming property.
Lisa was also great. She is such a wonderful host who took the time to meet us, walk us around, and give us recommendations for things to do in Door County.

Cute place! Close to Sturgeon Bay. We were greeted by a peacock, a little dog, a cat that climbed up our car and a bunch of guinea fowl. That's life in the country!

Country Charm was our perfect first experience with HipCamp. Lisa has a knack for making us feel welcomed. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We LOVED Lisa’s greeters (her two Boston terriors) and loved her farm animals; Kevin the Peacock, the cats and the Guinness fowl. The charm of her property is well thought out and later out for easy access to water, wood, etc. location-wise it wasn’t far from all of the state parks and towns we wanted to explore. We didn’t mind the fact that there wasn’t any trees for shade because our weather was perfect. We would go back in a heart beat!

AMAZING! Even better than we hoped for. The property is lovely and so is Lisa. We were there at the same time as 1 other group and Lisa also had friends staying in her camper but there was still plenty of space and privacy. Easy access to water, electricity, and indoor bathroom. We were able to set the tent up out in the field, leaving plenty of distance from the fire so the kids could sleep and the adults could enjoy the stars by the fire. The animals were all charming and well-behaved - my kids were sad to say goodbye! And you couldn't find a better host than Lisa. She was responsive and available but gave us our space and she went over and above to make our stay comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Stayed at Lisa's for 3 nights as a basecamp to explore Door County and really enjoyed our stay. Arrival instructions and communication from Lisa were seamless and easy to follow. Plenty of space to stretch out and pitch a tent!

Our stay was amazing. Lisa is such a kind and open person. Our family of 4 felt very welcome. The personalized welcome boards were very thoughtful. Even though we got to the site late in the evening, Lisa made sure to come out and walk us around. Our city kids loved running around and playing with animals that are roaming free on the farm. Truly charming spot, lots of space, privacy and peace. We would love to come back for a longer stay next summer. This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it was very positive.

Lisa was very welcoming and her place was beautiful. There’s plenty of space to camp here with various fireplaces and even some shelter from rain/wind if needed. Lisa gave us tons of recommendations for places to visit in the area. She even let us borrow tin foil when we had forgotten to pick some up for cooking. This was our first Hipcamp experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. The firewood is dry, the area is beautiful, and being greeted by a couple dogs and a cat is always a plus!

We had an awesome time staying on Lisa's farm. There was plenty of space, multiple fire pits and a couple adorable dogs running around. Lisa was extremely nice and gave some fantastic suggestions for hiking in the area.

My three friend's and I had a lovely two night stay on Lisa's farm. It was the perfect get-away for Labor Day weekend. There were plenty of different areas for us to explore and pitch our tent. The first night we spent it out in the valley area and the second night we moved our tent over to the garden area near the vine covered fire pit. Lisa was very accommodating, she even moved the fire-pit grilling grate over for us to use! One of her friends also made some mini skewers for us to use for roasting s'mores over the fires. I can't recommend Lisa's farm enough. There is plenty to do within a 15-30 minute drive. I highly recommend checking out the Door County Land Trust trails. Very private and beautiful! My friends and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you again, Lisa!
