What a fun site! It was perfect for our family (5year old boy). He loved the playground equipment and open field. The fire pit area is perfect with chairs and lights. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! The host came right out at 9p to help me with an electrical issue (my problem, not his). Really cool of him. The spot is level, private, and a pretty backyard setting. Absolutely PERFECT for kids!!! A little road noise bc it’s in the city/suburbs. Host also recommended the OK Science Museum for the kids, which was AMAZING.

Fisher Hill Campsite
We were overjoyed with our one night stay at Fisher Hill. It served all our needs as a family with young children. A peaceful, shady spot with amenities such as picnic tables, fire pit with chairs, plenty to keep the kids occupied, and other thoughtful surprises. A little oasis that feels private yet very conveniently situated. Nate is a superb host, and his site embodies what makes Hipcamping special.

AAs part of our cross-country travels, we absolutely loved staying at Fisher Hill! We rented BOTH the Treehouse and the Campsite. The kids stayed in the treehouse; we stayed in our RV (and we brought our own bathroom).
Grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Both the campsite and treehouse are so nicely done. The pics are great - the reality is better than the pics!
It's EASY - Nate made the directions for finding it and our set up super clear. We had zero issues!
It's FUN - we loved the fire pit
It's CONVENIENT - so many restaurants and shopping options right nearby!
Highly recommend! One of our favorite memories!

Stay here! Such a great location just outside of Oklahoma City. Nate takes so much care with his property and it shows, you can't help but feel comfortable in the backyard! There is plenty of room in the backyard for you and your family to enjoy. If you have kids, definitely book the great treehouse they have as a seperate listing! It has AC (which we were thankful for in July) and TVs, our kids enjoyed it as a break from sleeping in our camper.
If you would like privacy there is a fire pit and chairs under bistro lights behind the RV parking area!
Nate was awaiting us at arrival and directed us toward the backyard where the RV spot it set up.
Convenient electric and water hook ups.
Nate's family is friendly and warm, and gave us great local recommendations for food and shopping.

Enchanting, private, quiet, kid-friendly oasis that made our long day of travel totally worth it. My little guy got to see fireflies for the first time and his mind was blown. It was easy to get in and out. Only regret was our stay was so short. Thanks, Nate!

This is a perfect space to land and relax for the night on your travels. It is exceptionally well kept, private, and peaceful. Nate knows how to host in a way that is just right. Have stayed twice now.

What a wonderful experience! A private oasis near everything, including OKC. So many thoughtful touches - the fire pit, hookups, personal greeting, clear communications, oh and THE BIRDS!!! we stayed here several nights and could have stayed many more. There is so much to explore and this is a peaceful, beautiful and private home base. Don’t hesitate to book it. You’ll be glad you did.

Truly an exceptional spot, with a cozy ambiance and plenty of space/amenities. The only downside is the lack of a toilet, but that was clear up front, so we came prepared.

Fisher Hill Campsite was a fantastic place for an overnight on our way westward. We were delayed arriving until after dark (flat tire en route), but Nate left lights on, including an extra spot light, to make our set-up stress free. The property is perfectly kept, very private, and quiet. We definitely recommend.

Perfectly manicured back yard . The most lovely fire pit, chairs and strung lights . Plus electric and water . Privacy and great communication.
He also have an amazing Tree house that’s rentable. Vintage pay equipment.
We never met but I know he’s a cool dude . .

We love staying at the Fisher Hill Campsite! We were close to all the Oklahoma City has to offer, had privacy, beautiful location, electrical and water. If we ever come through Oklahoma City again, we will be back!

Wish we could have stayed here longer. Perfect little hideaway camp site. Felt so safe and clean and Nate was the most awesome gracious host. Sad we got in too late to use campfire, maybe next time. Thanks Nate for everything you’re awesome and your property is so great!

Very sweet backyard site that feels surprisingly private. Very nice host. Quiet, peaceful and highly recommended. One word of caution: the gate to enter is rather narrow and it was a bit of a challenge to get our class C Motorhome through, so be careful!

If you are looking for a fun, unique, intimate outdoor setting anywhere near Oklahoma City, stop looking. THIS IS THE PLACE! Yes, you will be staying in an awesome family's backyard but don't overthink or second guess it. Just book it! The Fisher Hill Hideaway Treehouse is incredible! Within a mile of this hidden gem, you have access to every commercial market, restaurant and service available, should you need anything. But turn into the driveway leading to your night's stay, and the city sounds and lights dim. You are beneath a brilliant open sky filled with the moon and stars. Your soundtrack features crickets and perhaps a tree frog. And maybe a chatty chicken or two. Yes, chickens. If you're up early enough, you may be able to harvest fresh eggs from the coop for breakfast. The well-maintained woods hug a vast open space of a yard that is meticulously kept, featuring a giant, deep fire bowl with seating aplenty, two picnic tables, mini playground, soccer net and, of course, the tree house! Every detail of the yard, fire pit, tree house and more is well thought out and appreciated. Our three-year-old absolutely adored this space, and so did we. He was able to go to sleep safely in the tree house while we relaxed by the fire. The double-decker tree house is well-designed and spacious. You can feel the energy, love and care that was put into this space by the hosts for family, friends and guests. Hosts Nate and Candiss were phenomenal. Communicative prior to booking and after check-out, this family is beyond warm and caring. And what a treat to have cut firewood waiting for you after a day on the road. And you are within walking and cycling distance to multiple trails in the area. We could go on and on about its positives. A review cannot properly express how cool this place is. Just go with your gut and treat yourself to a stay here! And if you opt to not stay in the tree house (although we urge you to reconsider!), a general stay, excluding the tree house, in your RV at the Fisher Hill Hideaway would be just as exceptional. We are grateful to have found this place and met this family. We will for sure be staying here again!

Fisher Hill Hideaway Treehouse
We loved our stay. Our family of 4 loved sleeping in the tree house. The kiddos played on the playground. My husband and I enjoyed the pretty outdoor fire pit with lights. It was magical. Definitely stay here if you can.

Jake was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It is secluded but close to the lake. Would recommend bug spray, Oklahoma has mosquitos that are bad this time of year. The site was super cute and clean and fun for the kiddos.
