We camped right after hurricane Debby. Circumstances out of anyone’s control did have an effect on our experience, but our host was a sweetheart and accommodating. We were comfortable on the site and managed to enjoy ourselves and will stay again someday.

The Muvaland campsite was gorgeous and peaceful. Even with the beach and stairs impacted by recent storms (which Amina was very communicative about!), the area was beautiful and the campsite was well maintained. Only flag for those with dogs is that one of the evenings we could hear what sounded like gunfire target practice for several hours. Otherwise the only sounds were the waves crashing which was wonderful. Highly recommend for a great camping experience.

This was a wonderful place to camp! The views were amazing, the property was well maintained, and the sound of the water at night was so peaceful. We were luck enough to see quite a bit of wildlife during our stay as well. There is also plenty of room to spread out and relax. I would highly recommend a visit!

This was my first ever hipcamp and we were blown away by how beautiful this site was! The site itself was well taken care of, was clean, the location is perfect. It was so peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We will 1000% be back!! 🩵

We loved Muvaland beach camping site! We arrived Friday in the midst of a storm. We were able to set up our tents (campsite was not muddy, whew!). There were muddy puddles at the entrance which our daughter loved!! Our stay was perfect, through the rain and the heat. The storm had covered the beach with seaweed but that didn’t stop us from fishing and actually caught one, yay! The trees provided plenty shade. Our gracious host left us some dry wood and we were able to start the fire easily! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and we are already planning on making this our annual family vacation. We were able to even get our teen kids to disconnect(from their phones, lol) and we all reconnected as a family!

I had an amazing time at The Muvaland. This was my first tent camping experience and it was everything I needed. Sitting by the campfire at night was so relaxing. I appreciate the fire starter logs that Amina left for me. There were also tiki torches around the site and oil to refill them. The views of the water were picture perfect. Watching the sunrise over the water each morning was an unforgettable experience. I’m so glad I chose this site as my first camping experience. I was nervous about not having running water, electricity and a bathroom but it all turned out fine. I brought several battery packs and solar powered lanterns and fan. I brought large gallon jugs of water with pour spouts for drinking and handwashing. I had purchased a portable toilet but didn’t need it; the port-a potty was clean and not as scary as I imagined. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Muvaland was the perfect site for a peaceful getaway. There was a high tide during my stay, but I was able to still enjoy the swing on the beach. The weather was perfect and the set up of the table/benches made it easy to have a cozy experience. This was a solo trip, but will definitely be back with friends and family. The port-a-pot was not as intimidating as one would think.

We absolutely loved the camp site, from the views to the swing on the beach. It had tiki torches and we brought plenty of bug spray and candles. Can’t wait to come back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this camp spot and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with the water waves playing their soothing music in the background, especially during the storm alert. The hammock was a favorite among our group, providing the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
One of the highlights was definitely the well-kept porta potty, which surprisingly was not smelly at all. The cleanliness of the entire area was impressive, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The convenient steps leading directly to the beach from our camp spot made accessing the water incredibly easy.
The swing, in good condition, was another delightful feature that added to the overall charm of the place. Amina, the host, was incredibly responsive and provided clear guidelines and instructions for reaching the location, which made our experience hassle-free.
Amina also left starter logs, although we did have firewood with us, but that was definitely a pleasant surprise ams convenience to start fire given we reached there later in the evening.
Road next to the camp-spot can be occasionally busy so if bringing kids or pets, keep them distant from there.
In conclusion, we absolutely loved everything about Muvaland - from the stunning views to the well-maintained amenities, and the seamless interaction with the host. It's a place we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a memorable camping experience.

Highly recommended. This October we made it to The Muvaland for our third visit. We went twice in 2021 but missed in 2022 so it was good to be back again.
This is definitely a wonderful and magical place to be. Just before we arrived at the campsite, we got a glimpse of the water from the car and it always makes us smile. We drove over an hour to get here and spent a few minutes as always to take in the scenery, hear the waves and breathe the fresh air before we started unpacking and setting up.
This year was more enjoyable than before because the weather cooperated completely - not too windy or cold and no rain. I still can't get over how relaxing the waves are. It seems the waves depend mostly on the wind but just a slight breeze is enough to get the consistent lapping sound of bliss.
The wildlife was active a bit more than two years ago especially the birds. And I was lucky enough to hear my first owl conversation before I went to sleep one night. One owl would hoot and the other would respond, and they went back and forth for about for about 10 minutes.
On the technical side the campsite is more cleared of underbrush than before so there is more room to roam. The cell signal is a bit better than before (now 5G) and somehow my wife's Pixel 7 worked consistently compared to an intermittent signal with my Galaxy S22 (despite costing twice as much). This area has no FAA drone restrictions so I was able to fly mine and get a few pictures.

The area was BEAUTIFUL!! We fished all night and cooked what we caught. The porta-potty was clean and spacious. Will definitely book again.

It was exactly the peaceful retreat off the grid that we needed. And ps it wasn’t bad using the port-a-potty. It is so clean (thank you!) and someone even stopped by to clean it during our stay. No wonder it stays so clean.

The Muvaland is a beauty and proved to be the perfect place for my birthday retreat. The sun rises directly in front of the campsite giving you a perfect view of the gorgeous horizon. Amina was very responsive and you can feel the love she puts into her land. My group was a little nervous about the port o potty but everyone was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness. Since it’s a primitive site, we brought our own camp sink and shower . We also brought a camp stove but we didn’t use it because the grill that the campsite provided felt more convenient. The hammock, string lights, and tiki torches were nice touches. I love that this place exists and i will be sure to visit again.

Camping at The Muvaland was such a beautiful and relaxing vibe. It was so peaceful and quiet. My fiancé and I decided to go “glamping” for some much needed reconnection and regrouping. The sounds of the waves at night was so relaxing when falling asleep and waking up to the pretty sunrise. I would definitely recommend this for family time, or if you and your partner just wants to spend some time together to reconnect and bond this would be a perfect option.

Amina’s campsite was beautiful! We enjoyed walking down to the water often on a hot day. I took so many pictures down there because it was so pretty. We also brought our inflatable kayak which was great in the shallow water.
The site is clean and clear, the benches and tables were nice, and the firepit was in a great spot. There were enough trees to have lots of shade as the sun rises and gets hotter. Nothing beats the gentle sound of the waves at night time, and watch the sun rise right from your tent.
Bring water shoes as it is rocky right by the water. This is not a complaint though, we loved that the beach was left natural, we sat on the fallen logs and there were lots of little ocean creatures enjoying the habitat.
The port a potty was a large sized one, and very clean, no issues at all.
We would gladly come back, and plan on it!

We loved camping at Muvaland! Amina is very responsive and her land is so peaceful and even more beautiful in person. We do couples camping every year and this was by far our best trip. We are already looking to go back and this time extending our stay an extra day. That’s just how beautiful it was!
