Stacy and her daughter Maddie were amazing hosts! They are both a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all the volcanic activity in the area. Highly recommend the tour! The campsite itself was great too, having the canopy over the tent and picnic table was crucial with all the rain. My 3 year old daughter loved all the friendly animals they had too.

This was a great stay. We pulled up in a campervan, but the campsite setup looked very accommodating. The outdoor shower was nice. And then… fissure 8. You can’t beat the views or the wealth of information Stacy has to offer while touring the lava fields and steaming craters. Absolutely worth it. Some really cool beaches and hot springs also nearby.

We absolutely loved staying at this hip camp! Stacy was not present, but her daughter did a great job on the tour! She showed us around the area for over an hour! We tasted local fruit, saw views that only you could see on her property. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone we know. If we ever come back we will definitely stay with them for more than one night! We felt at home safe, safe, and welcome at their campsite! 10/10 for sure.

This was a highlight of our camper van tour of Big Island - Stacy was an amazing host and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout the stay. The tour of the surrounding area was surreal and eye-opening - would highly recommend adding the fissure 8 tour as it is unparalleled. We loved hanging out with her three friendly dogs as well. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

I was divinely guided to come here by Madam Pele. I prayed for a healing in my right hip and knee. I had an injury from a car accident I had over 20 years ago. I’ve been in a lot of pain recently more than usual where I z zzzz was taking Tylenol everyday. I didn’t want to have to do that on the daily. I prayed to Madam Pele when I hike Volcano a week back little did I know she would lead me to Stacy at Fissure 8 the release point! Once I started hiking with Maddy (Stacy’s daughter) I noticed my pain had gone away completely?!? So, out of no where I decided to just start running up the incline of Fissure 8! I hadn’t run for 20+ years. It’s been a few weeks and still no pain Thank you to Madam Pele and her magical Fissure 8 the Hole of Creation and Release Point! I will forever be grateful and changed from this experience and blessing!

We didn’t have any expectations going here, and WOW! Stacy has a great little spot that will only get better! She gave us a walking tour of the 2018 lava flow that is IN HER YARD! We never expected to get up close and personal with it. My glasses were even steaming up! Stacy has a great off grid place that is a must see! Thanks for your hospitality girl!

As I sat in the tent looking at Fissure 8 I got lost in her beauty!! It is at times indescribable how you feel looking at Fissure 8! Absolutely A WICKED Place like no other! One of my best trips in my 44 years of travel. It really does feel Ike you are on another planet... nature’s beauty and power is such a mystery..
