The view from Lynne’s property is terrific and both Lynne and her husband are very helpful!
I would highly recommend staying here. Great place to set up a camp with lots of space.

This is a nice spot with the hosts very accomadating. For our stay the weather was not the best so this detracted from our weekend.

We loved the location of the site, being close to most places in Mornington Peninsula with views of next door farm’s cattle on field, however the whole vibe of camp was not what we seek in a hipcamp. We like more privacy, and more secluded. Driving through and around house and backyard (looks unmaintained) is not pleasant on arrival.
Hosts are lovely and greeted and welcomed us. Be sure to speak to Host before booking, as the access to back of lot to the camp spot is very tight squeeze for large vans.

My son loved his first experience here.
The only thing we could fault was the toilet located a little too far away from the camp site and I wasn’t sure if the damn was ok for swimming as it looked a bit murky.
Some road noise from Pen Link and the nearby dog kennels but I am sensitive to noise at night so it could just be my perception. Lovely and peaceful thanks Lynne

The site isn’t suitable for larger vans. We have a 21.5ft van which we tow with a RAM, and it was very tight getting in the front gate and past the stumps and trees, then when we got round the back we couldn’t get into the paddock at all. Lynne was very apologetic and still found us a spot to pull up in, and refunded us half the money. The location is great for Mornington and surrounding attractions, and Lynne was lovely. The paddock itself has a lovely dam, with bird life and great sunsets, but it is a little overgrown and and unkempt.

We had a great time, staying 11 nights. It's such a handy location, 15 mins from Mornington and Mount Martha and 5 mins to hop on the M11 down or up the Peninsula. The beautiful cows over the back and Lynnes sheep kept us entertained whilst we relaxed back at camp. Such a relaxing break and Lynne is a great and very considerate host!

Really good communication with Lynn. Did not get to enjoy the view as we arrived at night and left really early. Wish we could have spent more time there. Otherwise looks lovely and peaceful.

We liked the spot! Very flat and grass had been mowed. As there’s sheep there, just be mindful there’s poo around but nothing you can’t get past. The dam was beautiful & we were able to appreciate sunrise and sunset from where we were. We were greeted in the morning with the sheep outside our tent, was wonderful. Communication was great from the host Lynne. It is a bit pricey compared to other campsites when you compare value for money regarding the view BUT it has something extra: a super clean toilet in terms of amenities! All in all we had a good experience! It is close to local restaurants and attractions so if you’re only stopping there on your way to other attractions - very worth it.

It was a lovely flat space with a shady tree. We enjoyed paddling in the kayak on the lovely dam.
My granddaughter had fun chatting to the sheep although they were a bit wary of her...understandably!!
There was one other camper but with plenty of space between.
It was a simple easy camp-site, thankyou Lynne.

Stayed here for two nights recently. I was greeted on arrival and guided to my site, which was flat and had been recently mown. There was just one other group present, camped about 50m away so it felt quite private. Toilet facilities were adequate. Dozens of sheep around, but very timid and fled when you walked or drove Sites is very exposed to the elements, this was one of the windiest palaces I've ever stayed. All in all a good base for a reasonable price.
Note: Address of property and mobile phone number received via automatic booking confirmation were both incorrect, but owner provided right details when she replied.

Host was incredibly accommodating during a very busy season. Enabled a group of us to camp when no other campsite on the peninsula had room!
Beautiful views & lovely flat paddock - wonderful experience for us musicians performing for the peninsula summer festival!!

A nice view and the sheep were no problem although currently overstocked due to some property work. So a lot of sheep poo about. A walk in only for the moment as things change on the property.

Thanks Lynne for allowing me to stay overnight on your Mornington Peninsula property. The sunset/sunrise views were absolutely spectacular, as well as a perfect spot to enjoy the full moon on display that evening. There's plenty of room in the paddock to find a comfortable place to set up camp and relax. By the back fence, you'll see cows grazing on the adjacent farm, watch flocks of birds fly by, and look out across the rural landscape to Arthurs Seat. Hosts were great and friendly from booking to checkout. Bathroom facility was clean (no shower, however, running tap water is available). Fantastic location and recommended Hipcamp!

Great camping at Mornington country getaway. No hassles, everything was as described. Great, clean, flushing toilet. A great base to explore Mornington & surrounding areas. Great to get away from the crowds at night. Beautiful, relaxing views. No complaints at all. Be prepared with your own water & power.

A beautiful place to stay and only a stone’s throw away from gorgeous wineries. Lynne was lovely and we took her up on her offer to drop us off and pick us up from Barmah Park Cellar Door. So nice waking up next to the dam with the sheep inspecting our campsite. Thanks Lynne!

Great spot, central to everything but far enough away to feel like nobody else is around. Was nice to have the sheep wandering around our campsite.
Lynne was a great host. Very helpful and had lots of information on things to do in the area.
We would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at mornington winery view. Private, rural feel but close to the peninsula. We used it as a base to go to wineries and check the towns up and down the coast. Lynne and her family were very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay.

Nice and open, very basic set up flat site for the camper van. Would probably wait till the kids are older to stay again as the dam was a bit of a worry with our toddler

Lynne’s place is in a great location, super close to beaches and shops but feels so relaxing, peaceful and away from it all. Would definitely recommend and look forward to hopefully being able to go back.

Spent two nights camped at Lynne’s property for weekend of enjoying wineries, a long lunch and a live music event on the Sunday. Nice flat, grassy and peaceful site. We had pre arranged with Lynne multiple drop off & pick ups across the weekend at a few wineries, lunch & the event on Sunday which made our weekend even more enjoyable to not to have to worry about waiting for taxis & ubers. We had some delays with the times on the Sunday due to traffic involved with the event & Lynne’s patience & understanding was admirable. She went out of her way to ensure we had the best stay possible.

Great camping spot! Very quiet, and enjoyed watching the friendly sheep and nearby cows. Beautiful view across the fields to Arthur’s Seat and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets, and sunrises. Lynne and her husband were very helpful and offered assistance with anything I needed.
