- Kevin is a great host.
- The lady was a bit mean! She tried to charge us (4 adults, 4 kids) $80 for toilet for one night.
- Pizza was too salty, we bought 3 large pizzas (2 x pepperonis and 1 x margarita) and couldn’t finish even one of them.
- The live music was a good fun.

Great place.. warm and friendly hosts/ pub.
Great band on Saturday night. Only downfall was the weather.. rained all weekend so no fire pit.. We were going to take our bikes And do the rail trail but weather stopped us..

Yep, good. I would go back.
- Excellent value!! Like free camping without the problem of having to roll the dice on how crazy the campsite is going to get.
- Toilets and showers good.
- Nice quiet campsite with views of hills around
- Good playground & green space with public bbq in town, 100m away
- Pub food is good, meals came out pretty quick.
- Hosts very friendly and accommodating

Most campsites have lovely views over paddocks. Such a convenient location to explore local area and beyond with the convenience of shower, toilet and pub at your doorstep. Lovely friendly staff and would definitely recommend.

Good place for a winter campfire, parma at the hotel hit the spot. Miserable weather made the camp quite muddy, come prepared.

We stayed at Boolarra paddock adjacent to the pub over Easter 21. The weather was sensational we made the stay even more pleasant. Live bands on 3 days. Kev and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The locals are very proud of their town and are very friendly. Toilets and showers are limited but were cleaned regularly. I encourage everyone who stay in the paddock to support the pub and community.

We really enjoyed our stay at this site. Kevin was very helpful and organised on a busy Easter weekend. As we were a group of 4 families with younger kids he reserved a spot that was to the right of the hotel as you enter. This was further away from the music entertainment but close enough to the additional toilets that were arranged. To support the community hotel and Kevin please purchase some food, drink etc. While you are there. This will mean this camp site can be enjoyed by campers in the future.
You can turn up on the day and camp for free but we preferred to pay the nominal fee via Hipcamp to have a reserved spot on a busy long weekend. Thanks Kevin 😀👍

Great spot, great facilities, well organised considering it was busy weekend with music festival on site. Kids had fun making their own stick tent in the bushes.

It turned out to be a great place to Camp, with Toilet and bath facilities as well as restaurant and Live show in the premises. The host Kevin and others were very friendly and cooperative. Overall its a lovely camping place for family with pets.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Fantastic spot, friendliest locals you’ll ever meet, fantastic host, great amenities (showers so hot and great water pressure!) perfect pub grub just an all round awesome time!
Staying over the Easter break we also had live music every night at the pub which was fantastic.
We will 100% be back!!

We had a fantastic stay over Easter at Boolarra Community Hotel. The hosts were very accomodating, the facilities were great and the pub was great fun with live country music! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Fabulous grassed free camp (or minimal for amenities usage). Nice walk into town and easy ride to the Boolarra- Mirboo North rail trail. Great meal at the pub.
Stayed labour day weekend and it was ‘very’ busy. Would definitely stay again.

Such a fun stay at Boolarra! Kevin and the rest of the staff are very low-key and friendly. By chance we happened to book when there was live music (I think every weekend?) and that was definitely the highlight! Between the bar, buffet dinner and live music, this was exactly what we needed after after a week of isolated camping. This was also a wonderful place to meet people and do a little socializing. Would definitely stay again, thanks Kevin!

It was a lovely place however only 7 toilets and 2 showers for over 200 campers was a challenge. The value for money however was good and the size of a group was a good bonus too. Dog friendly and camp fire was permitted so really can’t complain overall.
