What a beautiful spot. I spent 2 nights here and loved the peace and quiet bar the soothing sounds of nature. Took a few walks, kayaked on the dam and just relaxed. Some areas are on a slope but once I found a flat bit it was perfect. Friendly, helpful host. Highly recommend.

Leonie and Brett’s property was the perfect getaway and reset. The property is so beautiful and nature there is just incredible. We had a couple of chats with Brett and he is so great! Even bought us some fire wood found around the farm!
We will definitely be back!

First time off grid and this was the perfect spot for us. Leonie and Brett's place was quiet, tranquil and picturesque. The camp fires was a bonus for the kids.

For the money we paid I was disappointed with no toilet or shower. The dam was not what I expected. Besides that we had a great weekend cheers

Easter long weekend camping trip so you might expect to be a little too close to adjacent campsites at such a busy time, but not so at Kaleep! Nearest other campers were a solid 50 metres away. There was a large, loud group situated quite a distance further and even their loud conversations and music were sufficiently far away that it did not bother us. If you appreciate being far from other campers, don't hesitate. We were right by the dam, which was great fun for paddle boarding and the scenery was beautiful. A great place to stay and would definitely book again!

Great little getaway, only 2 hours out of Perth. The campground was nice & spread out, camp hosts were super friendly & communicated well. Was lovely to hear the birds chirping when waking up in the morning. We will be back!

We loved our stay, it was very peaceful!
It was lovely walking around the dam and the kids loved the cows. Wasnt alot of phone coverage but that was a good thing. Will definitely be back!

Our position next to the dam was great first thing in the morning, listening to birds song and watching cows graze on the hill side. Seeing the new calves with the cows was really cool. Thanks for a great time!

Close to Donnybrook, site was nice with a gentle slope. Lots of birds and cows in and the area.

Directions on site incorrect causing confusion. Too many people on a small space. Some campers landed up going home 😡😢

Good campsite, we’ve stayed here twice now and enjoyed both stays. Last time was in winter and everything was so lush and beautiful and we explored some of the property and visited the cows. This trip was very hot and dry, so expectedly lots of bugs and flies, so we just relaxed and went on some day trips to some lakes. Good stay and would stay here again but note that the place has slopes so not all places are good for a flat sleep! We also didn’t swim and not sure if you can? Something to ask about for next time. The cows were very talkative this trip and it echoed through the valley, quite hilarious. Thank you again for having us and see you soon.

Just follow the signs and find the spot you like in the designated area opposite the cows. Starry night & toasting marshmallows. Lack of internet coverage is a bonus...
