Literally round the corner from a great pub and has the train station opposite into Chester which is also a magnificent city to visit. We’ve just arrived home from our glamping weekend at West Midlands Camping and honestly, we already can’t wait to return. We booked a last-minute family weekend away wanting more time outdoors and a break from busy life, and it ended up being one of the loveliest weekends we’ve had together. As a family of five, the yurt was the perfect size and had everything we needed, including pots, pans, and all the little touches that made it feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The outdoor fire pit was a huge hit and made cooking outside feel like a real adventure for the kids. The weather was beautiful while we were there, so we spent the days using the hot tub as a cool dipping pool and the evenings relaxing in it under the stars. The location itself is absolutely stunning, surrounded by green fields, peaceful countryside, and wonderful animals everywhere you look. Chris was the most amazing host. Her love for the animals and the farm completely shines through, and she made such an effort to involve the children in farm life. They loved helping herd the sheep, feeding the animals, and even hosing down Dave the emu and his friends to keep them cool in the heat. Meeting the llamas, donkeys, Zack the horse, all of Chris’s dogs, and having little Archie stay in the yurt overnight was the highlight of the trip for the kids. Thank you, Chris, for creating such a special little sanctuary in the countryside. Your warmth and passion are infectious, and we left with the best memories.

My wife and I loved our short stay in the Frodo pod. Totally immaculate and everything you need there to hand, we particularly enjoyed watching and listening to the birds as we sat by the firepit. The bed was very comfortable too! We're already planning on returning later in the year!

Weekend Trip to Greenoak Hideout
We had such a lovely stay at Greenoak. The hosts were so friendly and approachable and there were lots of lovely small touches that made the yurts feel homely and comfortable.
The log burners and electric blankets meant that we were warm over night and had a really comfortable sleep. We are looking forward to going in the Summer to be able to enjoy more daylight hours.
The boys (4 and 7) loved all of the friendly animals and the play equipment on the land, as well as the hot tub!
We will definitely book again and would recommend to our friends and family!
Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again next year!

The setting was just perfect for our family of five (including two dogs and a 4 year old). The Yurt was comfortable, clean and very cosy. The private shower and toilet facilities were great, as was the hot tub.
We had a trip to the local nature reserve during our stay, however think our daughter and the dogs were just as happy in the grounds with lots to explore, very friendly animals and lots of activities including trampoline and climbing walls.

The pod was nice, clean, and well-maintained, and although four pods were located in a row, it felt very private, largely due to large open field in front. Excellent location to visit Haddon Hall, less than 5 min drive.

Had an incredible few days at lloyds meadow, my husband did some fishing while I relaxed and crocheted, the campsite was clean and quiet, we even caught the meteor shower on Tuesday evening along with the northern lights. Sarah was an incredible host, always checking we had everything we needed, and very friendly.

We loved the glamping experiance yurt was nice and cosy and had everything we needed inside from pots and pans glasses to camp stove and kettle . Hot tub was fantastic stayed warm for hours. Farm animals are loverly and we enjoyed feeding them. Farm dog alfie is the cutest little dog ever. Christian is a fantastic host and we felt very relaxed. X
