Description
If you’re tired of driving over bumpy, teeth-chattering dirt roads to get your campsite, then you’ll be glad you found Tucannon Campground. One of the more popular spots in the area, it is accessed by a nice, flat paved road. Various stocked ponds are scattered nearby, offering great fishing for the whole fam. You can also try your hand in the adjacent Tucannon River. Or you can just hang out, make a fire and toast some s’mores. Tucannon does the whole camping thing pretty well.
Check website for closures.
Tip: This area gets busy busy busy from the opening weekend of fishing season on through the Fall, so having a backup campground might be a good idea if worst comes to worst and all the sites are taken.
