Family friendly (not a daycare center) farm, located 40 minutes from Perth. We have a Brewery and Restaurant located onsite, ideally located between Toodyay , Northam and York. The ideal base for exploring the the Wheatbelt region. Come along to our Karaoke nights at the Restaurant 1sr & 3rd Saturday of each month! Summer Creek was established in 1884 by Edward Vivian Harvey Keane. Keane was a prominent figure in the development of Western Australia, having constructed over 800km of rail around W.A. The property runs alongside the discontinued railway line, known as the Kep Track / Golden pipeline trail, which is part of the same railway network as the Bibbulmun track. The old winery building was saved by R and A Poulton, after a demolition order was places on it by the Northam shire in 2002. The property is now heritage listed, and the fight to preserve it from main-roads continues. Our camping set-up is a work in progress, so we would appreciate your suggestions and feedback, we now have a cold shower on site. When things dry out we will be able to do more work on the accessibility. Children are welcome, but make sure you are prepared to look after them. This is not a place to let then go feral. This is a working farm and has all the dangers that go with that. Please appreciate our home, as we are opening it up for you to enjoy as much as we do. From plants, rocks and old equipment, you may not be aware of its significance, so please be respectful and dont damage our home. If you book during the week (Monday to Thursday) please arrive before 7:30pm and make sure you give us a call to we know you are coming, we don't always check these messages. Thank you :)

You are just camping in a paddock with not much shady spots and the paddock had not been recently mowed so it was a snake hazard.

We needed a place to camp while doing the Kep track and Summer Creek was well placed for that. It was nice to have dinner available and the portions were generous. The nice terrace overlooked the farm and the hay paddock. We could not eat it all as we had foolishly eaten at the bakery nearby. The camping paddock was large and grassy. The owners kindly let us charge our batteries from the large solar array. The public toilets were a short walk away as the kitchen shut at 8pm.

This is the first negative camping review I have left. We stayed here based on all of the positive reviews, but our experience was far from it. Camping is in a sloping paddock that was covered in grass about 30cm long. The restaurant/brewery was closed as it was mid week so the advertised toilets were closed. This alone would perhaps have been ok as there was some nice scenery in the surrounding hills if we were not charged $49 to stay here. It was a huge amount of money to pay to camp in long grass that our mat would not sit on and for no facilities.

Perfect countryside escape! We stayed one night at Summer Creek with our caravan and absolutely loved it. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the wildflowers were beautiful, and the setting was peaceful and family-friendly. Great food, great beer, and beautiful trails—we’ll definitely be back!

Loved this charming farm stay, lots of space to enjoy. Very peaceful over at the campground, where we enjoyed the communal fire pit and stargazing. The owners are amazing at what they do, their onsite brewery is a great spot to sit and look out at the farm, with delicious pizza, beer & ice cream, and karaoke with the locals!

The farm was clean and well-kept, with geese, chickens, horses, and even a very lazy sheep. The views were beautiful, and the camping area was spacious and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🍻

Well located paddock only a short walk from the heritage listed shed restaurant, with brewery. Food (and beer) was very good and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. It is a working farm, so you cant go wandering outside paddock and restaurant/homestead grounds, but we were there on our maiden voyage in our caravan, so we were too busy learning the ropes to make the most of the beautiful surroundings. We could hear some trucks on GT Eastern Highway (some of them appear to be pretty inconsiderate with the use of their exhaust brakes!) on the first night, but got used to it quickly and didnt notice them after that.

We really enjoyed our weekend away and had a great time with the karaoke at the restaurant. Had Pizza at the restaurant very tasty. Our campsite was great, very peaceful as we were the only campers there and amazing views too. Thanks for having us😊

Awesome place!! Great place to catch up With friends. The owners are so friendly and welcoming! We did Karaoke on its usual night but they did an impromptu one the next night as it was a long weekend. Awesome!!! We are all looking forward to another visit when we can. My tip is to take a shower/toilet in a pop up ensuite tent if don’t have one - hot showers and camp ground toilets are a work in progress but there are toilets not too far away in Brewery and adjacent park. Pizzas, chips and Roast Sunday lunch was all very delicious - everything is made from scratch onsite. Fire put in middle of camp ground but can have your own enclosed fire - season permitting. Will definately be visiting again !!!!

Being able to go and have a drink and food at the tavern, plus listen to people sharing their talents or not at the karaoke night was fun. Lovely family, chatted to us and told us the plans going forward. Two very friendly dogs, and some farm animals added to the vibe. If you don’t like roosters crowing and a bit of road noise then this may not be the place for you. We enjoyed relaxing with a book and watching the bird activity whilst at camp. Plus we were close to Northam for the Elevate Festival. We had a fabulous time. Thanks 😊

Our family really enjoyed camping with our camper trailer at Summer's Creek. Lots of space for campers to spread out. We really enjoyed the restaurant/brewery that was on site. The food and beer was delicious. It had a great small town, warm country vibe which was enhanced by the fun karaoke on the Saturday night. Toilet was available during restaurant open times and a public toilet was within easy walking distance for other times. We would stay here again.

Owners were so friendly and helpful. Camping was in a field behind the restaurant, all food at the restaurant was made on site and was delicious. Communal fire available if you don't have your own firepit.

It’s a paddock that has plenty of space if people are sensible does have a lot of rabbit scat and some other animals so make sure you have floor covering or wearing shoes. Public toilets are a short walk outside the property or use the ones in the brewery restaurant but would recommend being self sufficient. There are cold showers on the paddock. Didn’t try as we have our own. Near the main road which you can hear but didn’t find it annoying. Chooks and cockerels on site that were vocal but it is a farm so to be expected. Brewery restaurant is ideally situated a minutes walk away and was very friendly and welcoming. Menu is limited but pizzas were fab. Well situated for local pharmacy, bakery and some other eateries. Will definitely go back, ideal weekend getaway. Ad says tents only but we took a pod camper which was fine I would ask them if you are not sure.

Large off grid camping area with undersigned sites, so you can choose where to pitch your tent. Close to the brewery which has delicious food and kareoke regularly. Our second time camping here and we will be back.

We loved camping at Summer Creek. Close to Perth and great vase for visiting Toodyay, Northam and York. Enjoyed the brewery and restaurant at night, my daughter loved the karoke. Very friendly hosts, definitely recommend.

Although the property spans a large acreage, guests are restricted to staying within a designated 1-acre boundary marked by string. The owner emphasized that it is a working farm, and access beyond the allocated area is not permitted.

The campsite may not have all the amenities of a large campground (yet), but it certainly doesn’t lack charm and was extremely relaxing stay. It’s an ideal spot for a night or two of camping. The owners are passionate about the property, knowledgeable about the area, friendly and made us feel welcome. They even brew their own beer , which can be sampled at the onsite brewery/restaurant that offers some solid food options too.

As soon as we arrived there, they explained everything in good detail to us. The farm was awesome, and the restaurant was so good too. Tex the horse was very cute! The owners were so nice, definitely going to come back again!

We loved our two nights at summer creek campsite! Loads of space to camp and we cycled on the on the Kep track which runs just outside. Our hosts were amazing company and provided great food and beer at the restaurant/ brewery. Which is right next to the site. Definitely would recommend!

Great camping spot located in a field next to a brewery/restaurant with restroom access during open hours (otherwise you can use the public toilets nearby). We ordered fresh beer and a delicious homemade pizza to take back to our campsite. There is lots of seating inside and on the patio. We'll be staying there again, just recommend wearing ear plugs if you mind noises while sleeping as it's only a short distance off of the Great Eastern Highway.

Basic camping at its best. You’re in a field, there’s a brewery that’s owned and ran by the same lovely people like 2 minutes from where you’re camping. Toilets are in the pub, late night toilets are a bit of a walk, maybe 5-7 minutes back to the road. Just an FYI. Sunday roast was exceptional.

We had a lovely stay at Summer’s Creek! The owners looked after us so well and they were extremely welcoming! We had delicious wood-fired pizzas and amazing hand crafted beers. We had the pleasure of meeting their gorgeous dogs Sooty and Fea who greeted us in the morning with lots of cuddles. The land is gorgeous and peaceful even on an overcast day. We would recommend Summer’s Creek to anyone who enjoys a rustic and personable stay!
