This campsite is a delightful choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, providing a green, spacious environment that is both peaceful and family-friendly. Guests speak highly of the welcoming hosts, Wendy and Sludge, who go out of their way to make everyone feel at home, often supplying firewood and checking in to ensure everyone's needs are met. The site is praised for its clean, well-maintained facilities, including flushing toilets and ample space for group setups. A few guests noted the basic nature of the amenities, but the friendly atmosphere and serene setting make it a favored spot for return visits.
Great place. Property well looked after. Convenient flush toilets and sinks with fresh water. Pasture is green and a lot of space for the kids to play. Recommended
A lovely long weekend at Sludge and Wendy’s with friends. Generously sized campsites with grass, making it so much easier to keep things clean. And with only 8 sites, the camp is quiet and peaceful.
The toilets and portable water makes for a stress-free camping experience.
Thanks guys for having us.
Great place to camp or caravan (whichever takes your fancy), lots of room, amazing hosts, fire pits and handy clean amenities. Camped with a group (BV) and we all had a great time..
Was the best weekend for our group. Felt very welcomed. Every morning Wendy would check in to see how we are and if we needed anything. Sludge would come by for a chat in the arvo.
Had a great location for our group to set up around the fire, yet we felt like home.
We will be coming back for our future campouts. Great clean amenities
Had a great 2 night stay with friends.
Flushing toilets were a nice bonus and appreciated by the fairer members of our little group.
Great little "country" break for somewhere so close to town.
Will definitely be back again.
What a wonderful campsite, lush level green grass sites! Plenty of space and lovely outlook. Fantastic amenities, especially for families/children. Hosts Sludge & Wendy were very welcoming and provided us firewood on arrival! 10/10!! We will definitely be back!
We had a large booking of 6 vans. Wendy and Sludge were happy for us to set up in a circle around a fire pit that they had supplied. We had 10 kids apart of our group and they loved running around the property, playing in the cubby house, sand pit and mini golf. They especially loved visiting the horses that were on the property. Our whole group had a great time and will be back soon.
Great new place, large flat grasses sites and flushing toilet near by. Large fire pit was provided for our group. Only downside we left a day earlier due to storms. Happy to come back
great communication and emergency management, we just happened to stay overnight during a terrible storm. Facilites were very clean. There was interesting things to see and even the horses were friendly. Sites were flat, well marked, protected, not cramped and the access was great too.
I loved our camping experience the camp is a large open field, surrounded by trees.
Our group consisted of 6 vans so we were able to place the group in a social circle.
They supplied a fire pit and for $10 a night fire wood.
There are two porta toilets which were clean.
Great little spot, grassed and level. We enjoyed the long weekend away from it all. Close to home for us but felt like we away in the bush for the weekend. Close to the Jarradale and Serpentine Taverns and the Dams and bushwalks.
We booked as a large group, the hosts were more than accommodating for us. The site was beautifully maintained and we loved our stay, will definitely be back!
Very peaceful as we were there middle of the week and were met by Mark the caretaker. Everything was clean and tidy. Easy access to go to Serpentine fall and Serpentine dam . We had very relaxing time.
We really enjoyed our time at your farm stay.
Our only negative were the toilet could have been cleaner.
But other than that it was a great place to stay. The care taker is lovely and was very pleasant to interact with.
