The place is peaceful, tidy, and exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were super welcoming and made everything easy. The property has heaps of space, great views, and a really chilled vibe. Perfect spot to kick back, enjoy nature, and reset. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful and easy. Dale was great, our dogs loved Rolex and muffin, Dales dogs. If you’re after a relaxing no frills get away this is for you. Horses very friendly as well.

Horse Paddock with dogs and ducks

Simple and as described. Arrived 6/7pm each day and left early so didn’t actually meet the host - only via text. Markers on the roadside so easy to locate. Didn’t use the shower or toilet as we had our own. Horses in the paddock & the dogs were friendly. A quiet nights sleep. Would happily return

Camping with visitors!

Dale and his dogs and horses were all very friendly and kept us company throughout our stay (camping is in a paddock with the horses, and the dogs come and go as they like). Access to toilet and drinking water appreciated. Plenty of space, and a fire to keep us warm in the evening. 20min walk with the dog to the nearest dog-friendly Pub. A lovely spot.

We had a great time with our Caravans and tent for a family weekend away. We booked a horse and cart ride to the Bailey Brewing and it was great fun. Had lots of puppy cuddles and brief visits from the horses, not the grumpy sheep though he wasn’t fond of us. Will definitely come back again

We had a 2 night stay with friends, children and dogs. Dale and the crew were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The horses were delightful and friendly, puppy’s Rolex and Muffin were so sweet and the 2 wee Guinea pigs were a hit with the kids. Sitting in the paddock around the fire pit with the horses strolling past..so nice.

A Great Spot

Peaceful Paddock was a great spot to camp. The creek was running, the grass was green. We could have a camp fire & the site was flat. The horses were friendly but not nosey. You are under a flight path, but that didn't worry us. Lots of great places to eat nearby & easy access to the hills & the city. We will happily stay again.

Quiet and peaceful campsite in a horse paddock. Good location close to Perth so did hear planes overhead but didn’t disturb us. Only two other campers when we stayed so plenty of space. Arrived late and left before 9 so can’t comment on the amenities….we were self contained.

Nice quiet spot. Close to Swan Valley. I recommend for people who are set up for unpowered site and are okay with horses being up close. Not for you if you're going to find them intimidating. Toilet is in the shed next to the house, up near the front of the shed. Shower is the basics. It's the same area as where the horses get washed down, so it's not for the precious. Bring your flip flops. Dale is pretty chill and cares a lot about the animals.

The property is delightfully peaceful and serene with friendly horses and a sheep wandering the paddock. There are trees scattered and lush grass for camping on. If you’re self contained (caravan) with your own shower and toilet you’ll have a wonderful time. If you’re relying on the Hipcamp toilet and shower you may be disappointed in that they are very rough and do not afford any privacy. They are both in a work shed which is the host’s office. The toilet is behind a door with a 3 inch vertical gap, the shower is in a corner and screened by a tarpaulin. You’d be better off with your own camp shower. If you’re self contained, none of this will affect you and you’ll have a great time. Despite the short comings of the amenities, it is a nice place to stay.

Very welcoming and quiet. We needed to turn up late but Dale was really nice and helped us out. The horses in the morning around the caravan are a very nice start into the day. Thanks for having us 👍

Overall we had a good time and my sons loved the horses and being so close to them. I found the hosts comments regarding other cultures unpleasant and uncomfortable sadly. There we also 2 very cute and playful pups on the property but to and from the toilet there was so much dog poo, up in the barns, which hadn't been cleaned up and with kids this wasn't very nice.

Roof top tent, fire and horses

Our first time camping with our kids and roof top tent. Loved the farms authenticity, we grew up in the country in New Zealand so we really enjoyed the location of our stay and it was nice to see the horses and sheep. Dale was a good host, came and greeted us when he was free and sorted out our wood purchase, was really easy to find little twigs to get the fire going. Just a fyi planes do fly over but hardly an issue if you can sleep through it. Would definitely recommend to others, thank you Dale for offering your land for others to use and stay, sorry we left before it starting pouring down!

Loved taking the caravan to Peaceful Camp!! The Horses were inquisitive and gentle, beautiful sunset, rustic firepits provided, wood delivered to our camp, would definately return! Thank you Dale and Garry!

Camping - close to home!

Nice small little property that is close to civilisation. Perfect for spontaneous/last minute camp trips. Dale is an absolute legend. Loves a good yarn and is as friendly and welcoming as they come. Toilet facilities are available and are at walking distance, and are clean. Sites are not suitable for larger groups, so if you’re planning to be rowdy, maybe consider another place. Site is 15-20 mins East from Wannerroo Rd. Too good!

We’ve stayed here before, we like being able to pick a spot and having the animals around, Dale is helpful and welcoming and it’s great to be able to walk to some of the breweries nearby.

Very basic. It’s a big paddock. Nice to just roll up and pretty much set up where you like. Horses are roaming around which is a real treat, and there’s lots of birds around. Simple, but a nice, chilled spot, super close to home. There are fire pits on-site and the owner offered wood to use if I needed it. Only 1 toilet but that’s ok if only a few people there at the one time. If you have kids, or love horses, it’s a cute little spot. I walked to Bailey’s winery while I was there which broke the day up nicely.

In the horses paddock, lots of space we pitched near the trees where we had a great campfire. Great because we are fully self sufficient. Only issue was the young neighbour and driving his dirt bike in the evening, very noisy.

Great location, and site is as described - a horses paddock. We had no contact with owners, although we did attempt to make contact when we arrived as they had requested. We had a wander into Swan valley and when returning it was dark, we got our fire going and chilled out. The friendly horses came right up to our camper and were very inquisitive. As we were by our fire we saw a car arrive, the driver opened the gate and got back in his car to drive through with his friends helping him 2 of the horses managed to escape, the people had tried to stop them from escaping but the horses were definitely on a mission to get out. The people went straight to try get the horses, and had gone to the owners property to notify. After around few minutes we heard the son of the owner(Dale) yelling at his Dad (Garry). There was plenty of colourful language from Dale at Garry around family politics. It made us feel very unwelcomed and concerned if we were going to be forced to leave the property. Thankful we didn’t have our kids to witness/hear what we heard, will definitely not be returning.

煞笔的地方

我只说一遍，能看懂中国字的不要来。营地没有任何安保，只有个谁都能打开的大门，来的时候也没有check in，给主人打电话他说自己开门进去，就没了。厕所肮脏，并且主人非常粗鲁，我问他厕所在哪，他就对我说F words，非常煞笔的一个澳洲人。并且营地到处都是马屎，很难找到一个周围干净的区域扎帐篷。并且！白天的时候我以为马都在围栏里面，没想到晚上有马在我们帐篷附近吃草，非常吓人，因为马真的很大，它们的肌肉真的很夸张。虽然我知道它们性格温顺不会故意伤害我，但是躺在帐篷里的时候，一定会忍不住想，它们会不会不小心踩到我的头，总之我一晚上没睡好，以后不会再来这个地方了👋。
