This is an active 12 Acre Vineyard set in a picturesque 54 Acre property. (Just so you understand my base rate is $70.00 a night. You get free Fire wood and you get a farm tour plus wine tasting if you want so $70.00 I believe and so do those that have stayed with us believe this is great Value. Hipcamp have added the $15.00 as a fee to you for them. I'm also charged a service fee so I'm not putting the $70.00 a night in my pocket, I get $59.50) Watch the day to day activities around the Bungarra Wines Vineyard and property. Walk/Sit and enjoy the bush walks, the birds, the Kangaroos, the occasional Echidna and of course the odd Bungarra (Race Horse Goanna). Sit by the large Dam we call Lake Bungarra. Bush Walk or pushbike in Beechina North Nature Reserve or Wooroloo Regional Park, both adjoining our property. Also the KEP track is near by to walk or ride your bike along. Visit the Iconic Lake Leshenaultia in Chidlow and the must be enjoyed Chidlow Tavern. Back at Bungarra Wines you can experience our Wine Tasting either in the Cool Room by day or by a fire in the evening weather permitting, or we will come to you at your camp site. At your camp site you have a fire pit and wood so you can sit by a fire if you want and enjoy a bottle or two of our award winning Bungarra Wines. We also do farm tours, just organise with us a time during your stay. It's an easy drive from us to the historic towns of Toodyay, Northam and York.Site is overlooking the picturesque Lake Bungarra, looking west to capture the sunsets. There is a fire pit and wood supplied outside of any fire restrictions. Hipcampers who have stayed rate it as one of the best sites they have stayed at. The site is spacious, has a deck by the water to sit and enjoy the view across the Lake. Lake is stocked with Silver Perch, feed time is around five in the evening. Just so you know my Base rate is $70.00 a night, the extra $15.00 is what Hipcamp are charging you for my site. (This site can accommodate another caravans and two people if you/friends are traveling in tandem. The person that books the site needs to email/text me to discuss)

Wine & campfires by the lakeside

What an idyllic spot to camp for a long weekend. Sitting by the lake, with a camp fire, sipping on wine made within a stone's throw of your campsite was a perfect way for us to unwind. Chris is an excellent host and made us feel welcome. The site is large, clean and well maintained. Access is easy for any size vehicle. Fire wood provided as well as chairs and the lights around the lake are great for spotting the local critters. 100% we will be back.

I rarely leave reviews, usually because I forget or never get around to it, but these hosts’ hospitality, kindness and wonderfully bubbly personalities couldn’t go without a mention! Thank you for sharing the wine tasting, the sunset, the fire, and most of all, the conversations and laughter. You made me feel so welcome. It was such a wonderful night, and I’ll definitely be back soon! 🍷🪵🔥✨🎶

Absolutely gorgeous stay, warmest welcome when arrived on the site. Beautiful campsite, perfect for a special trip or just a get away. Chris & Jee are such incredible hosts and such a pleasure to have a tasting around the fire with them and their doggies. Plus we got to bring home some beautiful wine- couldn’t recommend more!! Thank you for having us ❤️

Lovely vineyard with a nice little camping spot by the lake. The hosts are very nice , we got a tour of the vineyard and wine tasting while we were there which was a very unique experience when camping. We would 100% go back there, the wine was delicious!

What an absolute hidden gem! 🍷🔥⛺️ We had the most amazing stay at Bungarra Wines and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, Chris and Gee were so welcoming, friendly and genuinely made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was definitely the wine tasting around the campfire in the evening, such a special experience! Sitting under the stars, enjoying their wines by the fire and chatting away was the perfect way to spend the night and made the whole stay feel really personal and memorable. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we were looking for in a little camping escape from Perth. You can really tell how much love Chris and Gee put into the place and into making sure their guests have a great experience. Even put us in the buggy to do a toilet run! Haha We came away already talking about when we could return! If you’re looking for somewhere with beautiful surroundings, great wine, lovely hosts and a proper relaxed country atmosphere, Bungarra Wines is an absolute must. Thank you Chris and Gee for such a brilliant stay, we’ll definitely be back! 🍷✨🔥

Delicious wine & a beautiful time!

We’re actually a bit gutted that we have to leave such a good review as we want to keep this place to ourselves, so PLEASE don’t read on…. For one, the spot is so peaceful, well kept and picturesque. And two, Chris and G are the most genuine, kind hearted people, and perfect hosts. Thirdly and most importantly, THE WINE!!! We have no faults. Thanks so much for such time and see you again soon! ❤️

Without a doubt the best night's camping that my wife and I have ever enjoyed. The property is beautiful, the owners (and caretaker) are fantastic, and the wine was amazing. 10/10 experience. We'll be returning as often as possible!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bungarra Wines thanks to Chris. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome on his beautiful property. He kindly supplied us with firewood, took the time to show us around, and even treated us to a fantastic wine tasting. His genuine hospitality and generosity made our visit truly special. It's clear that Chris cares about giving his guests a memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Bungarra Wines to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional hospitality!

What an excellent location to relax and unwind. 50acres to explore by foot or Buggy. Starry nights and a warm fireplace. Excellent wine to taste. Amazing Host and some great laughs with his partner. Would recommend this Adult getaway to anyone and we will definitely be back for another stay :).

Amazing place!

The property is beautiful, the site is spacious, with a deck in front of the dam to enjoy the sunset, and a firepit to enjoy the stars at night. We highly recommend doing the wine tasting and getting a few bottles at home. The Chenin Blanc was our favourite! Chidlow is a few minutes away, with a pictoresque Tavern and great Cafe.
