We highly recommend staying at Steven's.
He made sure to contact us in advance and provide us with directions to this wonderful place. His partner Hoda was there to greet us and gave me some recommendations for walks in the area.
The place itself was awesome, we loved our time there. There's a forest only a couple of metres from where we parked and our dog loved running around there and jumping over fallen trees. The sound of the river was nice to fall asleep to. We would definitely stay there again!

We got the whole space for ourselves and the location was absolutely amazing. Far away from the streets, the cars and the buzz of tourists. Was absolutely a bliss to be surrounded by forest and to have a river close by. We also enjoyed the trails near by which we found easily through AllTrails app. The host has very nice and helpful.
I recommend to be equipped with mosquito repellent as they come out at sunset and during the night.

I spent 2 nights on this beautiful site. I was very lucky in that I had amazingly good weather and had the site to myself. The site is very remote and full of nature. I walked to Nantmor and took the National Trust path to Beddgelert then back along the hillside track. It was absolutely stunning. Could have been in the Alps.
My only suggestion would be to have a fire in the evening or take insect repellent. The midges were out in force!

We have just returned from a long weekend staying at the lovely Dolfriog Hall. The place was just stunning! The surrounding walks were absolutely beautiful. We even forgot it was bank holiday weekend as it was so tranquil there.
The campsite is an absolute Jewel! All the land is very natural and had a wild camp feel. Although in the early stages of establishing the place all was clean, tidy and well presented.
Steve and Hoda were very friendly and helpful.
We had such a great time living on the wild side. Gone were the pressures of everyday life, to a relaxed vibe, listening to owls, woodpeckers and all manner of bird song from the forrest. We had a couple of early morning dips in the passing river to set us up for the days rambles
We give this camp 10/10 as seekers of peace and harmony and we would most definitely recommend using this site as a base for walking , getting away from the rat race and a digital detox 🙏💙
