We are a family-run family-centred site that focuses on simple pleasures of being outdoors in a beautiful peaceful setting with a stream, meadows and woodland and Cambrian mountains. We have a rich wildlife to observe and plenty of space. We have outdoor games, board games and a treasure hunt to get children started on their adventures. We are happy to show you around our smallholding field nearby with llamas, chickens, ducks, bees and sometimes lambs or pigs. We have a range of offers for keen campers or campers who want a bit more comfort with proper beds and bedding. Lovely communal spaces as well as private space for each pitch. Maximum of 8 families over 10 acres.

This beautiful bell tent is great for couples, groups of friends and of course families. The tent is spacious with a foam mattress double bed, a double futon, and another double futon which can be folded into a seat if not needed. It has a covered picnic and cooking area with a gas BBQ and a burner and solar lighting, a covered firepit, and some sun loungers. Cutlery, crockery, cool box and basic cooking gear provided. Set in a very secluded sheltered spot near a little stream, what better than to read a book and listen to birdsong and gentle stream trickling? Or picnic with the children? It's a few minutes walk uphill to the facilities and communal Lodge.

We are located in MidWales with a wealth of sea, mountain, lake and woodland trips all within an hour's drive. On site we promote relaxation, watching wildlife, outdoor games and treasure hunt, and can take guests to visit our llamas and smallholding field. Mostly children use their imaginations and have a wild time!

Red Kite Yurt
Lovely place. Clean facilities and powerful hot showers. Karen was helpful. Unfortunately, our last night there (when we had an early start the next day) was a bit noisy as the red kite yurt is located between the communal lodge, the main toilet block and there was a tent full of noisy teenagers nearby. Maybe a noise curfew is needed at a certain time?

Otter Bell Tent
It was last minute booking so wasn’t fully prepared for camping but the basics are all provided for which was good. The location is nicely hidden away so you get peace and quiet. The sound of the stream was an added bonus. The tent was just the perfect size for us (4 people). Karen was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

What a gem of a campsite! We could not ask for anything more and the support from the host was great. The privacy of the Otter Bell Tent was fab and the views were so lovely and we truly felt at peace there :)

My family & I had a great time relaxing at Cledan Valley. It was our first time staying in a yurt & everyone loved it. Although I think meeting the Llamas & Alpacas stole the show. Karen was a great host. I highly recommend.
