Little Cottonwood driveway camp
Go stay at an actual campground. You're paying the same price basically. Had I known it was gonna be $66 rather than the $35 on iOverlander, I would have chosen the campground. All I needed was to charge my batteries so I chose the cheaper route. The owners are super nice so that part was appreciated.

Honestly, there’s no reason why someone would stay here and not the cheaper campgrounds nearby. The hot tub they advertised was closed but I still paid the full $60 just to park in someone’s overheated driveway. Next time, I would just book an Airbnb. Also, on asking for a partial refund because there were no amenities like hot tub and potable water, the host said he would Venmo me $10 for a positive review.

You simply cannot beat this location! Kirk was very helpful, giving us a last-minute place to stay with our dogs while visiting. The property was quiet, easy to pull into and park, very easy instruction for use of electric hookup. We look forward to staying here again!

Kirk was awesome! He’s got a large chunk of land beside his house for set up and water at the site. He was very accommodating as we had to arrive quite late in the evening and he came out to greet us on arrival. This was roughly 5 minutes from bouldering in Little Cottonwood. Highly recommend this site!

Kirk was super kind to help us park our 20 foot airstream trailer near his house and plug into power. We woke up to the sound of rain and a view of partially snowy mountains. Thanks!

Kirk was a nice guy. There were no frills here for sure so if that’s what you are looking for look on. Privacy for sure and anything we asked about he was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Hope the hot tub is running next time.

Kirk generously offered ideas on local places to eat and input on our travel plans. Safe, level site. A bit noisy from traffic on adjacent road, but earplugs took care of that for sleeping.

The best place in SLC area to layup in your camper van, and be near the canyons. Kirk's a great guy and host. 9+ day stay, and hopping on the bus at the end of the driveway, chatting on the way up and back down, takes the stress out of hitting the resorts. 'I'll be back.' So don't take my spot.

Great place to park and access Little Cottonwood Canyon. Kirk was friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Kirk the host was great as well, gave use a great tip about using the public bus up the hill to Snowbird, bus stop pick up and drop off was less than 100 feet for the driveway! Little bummed we couldn't use the jacuzzi, but understand why. Will stay again for sure!

Kirk's driveway is a very convenient spot to park your RV when you plan to ski in Asta or Snowbird. Enough space to park a 27ft Motorhome, electricity and water available. The regular shuttle bus stop is right in front of his house. Around 10 min walk to Supermarket and 24/7 gas station. Kirk himself is a very nice host, caring, approachable, and easy to communicate with. He took great care for us, and we hope to stay in touch. Geert and Dorien (from Amsterdam)

Super convenient location, super helpful host. This is not nature camping, but if your intention is mountain access like mine was, it's a great option. I'm grateful Kirk made his space available to me.

Kirk’s driveway was awesome! Perfect turning radius for us in our 19’ trailer. Good views of the mountains. 20-30 minute drive to Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. Kirk is a great guy and host! He was very kind, accommodating and generous. He filled our water tanks, plugged us into power, and even skied with us on the mountain. His busy road made us nervous about letting our dog out, but there’s a nice neighborhood for walking across the road and a horse park 1/2 mile away with miles of trails for dogs on-leash. We look forward to staying here again.

Kirk was extremely accommodating and provided shore power hookup for our trailer.
Nice area to stay at the base of Little Cottonwood canyon with easy access to all of salt lake with in about 25 mins.

Fantastic stay with Kirk! He was very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Our 27' Airstream plus truck was a very tight fit but Kirk helped us maneuver around the driveway to get to our back-in spot. There was electricity and water available but we have solar and had already topped up our fresh tank. Our stay was quiet and private. Would definitely stay again.

Location is convenient and as advertised. Kirk is a great host. Note the size limit for trailer, if yours is bigger, you'll need to be an ace at backing in. We had no problem.

Kirk was a great host and the location is great! I rolled into town at the same time as some smoke from the fires but you can tell the area and views are beautiful!

The driveway and parking is very, very tight. Too tight for a 28' fifth wheel unless you have years of practice backing up into tight areas. Power was only a 15 amp circuit; not enough to run my ac.

Nice place to camp at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Kirk was very helpful. Water and 20 amp power available. I’m running my generator some because Utah is experiencing a heat wave. Located 2.5 miles from the Little Cottonwood Canyon trailhead were there is a beautiful hiking and biking trail that goes alone Little Cottonwood Canyon Creek.
