We offer a rustic classic safari tent with all amenities: high-tech composting toilet, hot water, shower, kitchenette with gas hob, fridge and coffee maker, quiet and efficient diesel heater. Fast and reliable Starlink wifi. Two queen sized beds, deck/terrace. Surrounded by mature cork oaks, olive trees and an orange grove, a bucolic landscape dotted with classic "Monte Alentejano" houses and ancient mills. Stunning sunset and sunrise views. The tent is self-contained, with a private drive. The property is located on a dirt track, 1 km off the main highway. Fire pit (available outside of burn-ban season, usually end of Sept.), 1k liter "dorna" (wine-crushing tub) sitting tub. Enjoy hikes through the mountains, local tavernas (5 min) and restaurants (within 30 min), coastal activities 45 min away. 30 minutes to Almodovar, with restaurants, museums, etc. We are dog and child friendly (with caveats)- please contact us in advance to discuss. Stunning beauty, comfort best hosts

Safari Tent with Sunset Views

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying with Tim and Trish. The camp is so nicely setup. The toilet works like magic. The beds are very comfortable. The little details, like fresh lemons and local honey, some croissants waiting for us. Truly lovely. The view from the camp is otherworldly - the greatest sunset I have witnessed in my life. Just gorgeous. Dinner provided by Tim and Trish was fantastic and it was a true pleasure to get to know them.
