We had a cozy stay at the Just Be cabin. We arrived after dark and the trail to the cabin was well lit and easy to find. Stacey took the time to build a fire in the woodstove before we arrived so the cabin was very warm, and it was easy to keep warm throughout the evening. For a small cabin it felt very spacious. Really appreciated getting to stay at this sweet retreat!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this cabin! Stacey’s garden was incredible - our morning was spent listening to birdsong and taking in how beautiful our surroundings were. And then we had an amazing yoga class (I’d definitely recommend adding that on!)

What an amazing and serene place! Just Be was perfect for my sister and I as we were passing through before Green River Festival the next day. Stacey was incredibly accommodating/kind and we enjoyed our stroll through the gardens and watching sunset on our long walk in the evening. Can't wait to come back.

My daughter and I had a perfect stay. Stacey was always quick to respond to any question or need and the space was just what I was looking for. If you are not confident in your fire building skills, check out her instructional video— I learned so much from it.

This tiny cabin is a wonderful spot if you need some quiet time to reflect, meditate (zafus were provided!), read, or write. It's well maintained and clean with great views of the woods, ample light, and privacy (even with no leaves on the trees). Using the wood stove was simple and the bed was super comfy! The cabin is also very close to DAR State Forest and other trails if you want to get some hiking in. Highly recommended!

Stacey’s place is truly a sanctuary and is incredibly peaceful. She told me that it used to be a Franciscan monastery and I felt that the monks’ peaceful presence still permeates the area. I had a lovely solo retreat and very much enjoyed the wood burning stove, looking out at the trees and sleeping very well in the comfy bed. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed staying at "Just Be" Cabin sooo much! It was my 1st ever solo trip. I felt safe on the property, Stacey was super kind and I also knew could contact her if I needed anything. I loved everything about the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the peace & quiet! I brought 2 sets of battery operated fairy lights with me, which was huge for me, so I could see outside my windows all night. The stove was perfect and cooking on it was great. The toilet was interesting and I was glad to have it to use. I am so grateful to have found Stacey's perfect little cabin in the woods!!

Just Be Cabin
Stayed at this sweet little cabin for an overnight bike trip. The fire was started when we arrived, and it was amazing to step into a warm little haven! We had everything we needed for a cozy night’s sleep, and appreciated the easy communication beforehand to help with planning. Well be back!

We had a lovely stay at Stacey's cabin. The wood stove was plenty warm, and the setting super quiet. We loved watching out the big windows as the morning came up through the trees. At night the stars put on a show for free.
We had some car trouble during the weekend, and Stacey was kind and gracious as we arranged for alternate transportation. Because of the car trouble, we spent one full day not going anywhere, and that day was an unexpected gift. We went for long walks nearby, through an apple orchard and beautiful woods. The Just Be cabin was just that.

We so enjoyed our time in the “Just Be” cabin- three friends traveling from different locations to meet in the middle . A perfect opportunity to simplify put electronics away and truly just be. Stacey was so gracious in telling us about local hikes and led us through such a beautiful yoga practice (which we highly recommend). The bed was very comfy, enough space to put a queen size air, mattress down, and honestly enough space for meal prep. Everything was perfect. We are so grateful.

I cannot express how adorable this little cabin is. Everything right down to the bathroom… yes the bathroom… was fantastic. We felt secluded in the cabin but also close enough where we could reach the main house even at night if there was a problem. Cabin was super clean, Stacey was so wonderful and accommodating and her property is stunning and so welcoming. 10/10 we cannot wait to stay here again.

The Just Be was just what we needed -- a simple, comfortable and beautiful space to unplug and reconnect. While we never met our host, she was very responsive by text with recommendations and accommodations. The gardens are beautiful and just starting to bloom with spring. And the cabin is just set far enough into the woods to feel private without feeling isolated. Country roads nearby were lovely to stroll along.

We arrived to the just be
Cabin at night so it was a little tricky to find but once we got there everything was easy peasy she had previously turned on the wood stove so the cabin was nice and warm it was clean and beautifully set up

The directions were spot-on, including the warning that the dirt road was muddy due to the early melt (I was coming in the dark and would have been alarmed had I not anticipated it; AWD handled it fine, though). Lovely little cabin, spare but the bed was comfy and all the necessary furniture was there, windows had a good view, and it held heat really well once the woodstove warmed it up. Handwritten instructions were there for anyone who doesn't know how to operate a woodstove or the fabulous "earth toilet." The traffic-free road includes multiple farms and orchards, and there's a short river-side hike within walking distance; other hikes are a drive away. The fresh chicken eggs were tasty, though the girls were a little annoyed when I walked over to say thanks and I turned out not to be there to feed them! The host house and several other buildings were in view but other than the moment I pulled in to park I didn't see a soul. Highly recommended.
